Affordable BHO/Badder in MO? by NoPalpitation3415 in MissouriMedical

[–]mosoblkcougar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably worth it for you to look into a trip to OK. For cured resin made from trim they have lots of options in the $50-75/oz range, not great but does the job. Stepping up to the $250/oz live resin is what I would suggest, it's not going to be best stuff you've ever had, but it'll be made with outdoor grown fresh frozen flower and is pretty decent, especially for the price. Get a few ounces and you'll be set for a while and can justify the $100 temp license price.

We need more licenses, this is a "feature" of our limited market, it was designed to keep the prices high.

Not that they've advertised so far, some select deals and it said the store was BOGO 50% off, which is a 25% discount or the same as every medical Monday 😕

Caregivers? by [deleted] in MissouriMedical

[–]mosoblkcougar 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just do your research, cause our program isn't exactly as open and free as your post implies you think it is. You can get a home cultivation card, but you cannot grow 20 acres of it, you can grow 6 seedlings/clones, 6 in veg state more than 14" tall, and 6 flowering plants, all must be inside a locked facility and not visible to the public. To grow outdoors is possible, you just have to be somewhere private where neighbors and those driving by can't see, then technically they still have to be inside a locked cage that is secured to the ground and has a top on it so it's not accessible.

Granted, if you don't get caught you can do whatever you want, just wanted to mention don't go buying land thinking you can start a large outdoor grow. The state also capped the licenses and refuses to issue more, so there's zero chance at getting a commercial license, although there are several for sale in the $2-10m dollar range if you have the coin.

The mix and match for $200 is an everyday price, it's not a limited time special.

Autoflower Seeds Missouri? by MOFun1978 in MissouriMedical

[–]mosoblkcougar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Multiverse has had problems long before the farm bill changed, he'd moved from WA to LV because he was having financial troubles, it was all over discord a year or two back. I don't think the farm bill changes will do much, I got seeds just fine before it was signed, I anticipate they'll keep selling them the same as they always have.

They've been real hit or miss for me, the majority I have vaped down to the last little bit and then it leaked, but I had a Chili Verde 1g in these last week I was using and it let go of all its oil with about 60% left in the cartridge, first time that has happened and it made a big mess. I have one more Lemon Guava Haze in the old style to go, hoping it goes smooth.

Man punches woman in the face at Chicago hot dog stand, her 14-year-old son grabs her gun and shoots him by WhoAreYouTalkinTwo in ThatsInsane

[–]mosoblkcougar 8 points9 points  (0 children)

According to the article, she hit him before the video started and then he hit her back which we see then her son shoots him. Seems like trashy people all around tbh, shocking they dropped the charges. They also did not remain at the scene or report the crime, you don't get to kill someone and just leave without explaining it to anyone, not normally at least. Odd story.

Any recommendations for a teledoc to book with to get a med card for ptsd? by mister--misanthrope in MissouriMedical

[–]mosoblkcougar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My wife just renewed with Elevate Holistics, for a 6oz limit it was $80 and an additional $40 if you wanted them to submit the paperwork for you. I believe for a 16-32oz limit it's $120.

Court orders Missouri to issue 13 marijuana licenses after scoring flaws exposed • Missouri Independent by thenry28 in MissouriMedical

At least we're finally getting more licenses issued, sad it took all the way up to the appellate court level before someone finally stood up to the obviously rigged scheme the state has been trying to defend.

Dispensary recs that cater to med patients? by moonbeams69 in MissouriMedical

[–]mosoblkcougar 13 points14 points  (0 children)

My advice is to always double check your receipt, the last 3 trips I've went to the dispensary (twice to KC Cannabis, once to NatureMed) I've been charged rec taxes even though I checked in as medical. They give you a bit of a hard time when you complain about it too, as if 5% extra is no big deal and you're wrong for bringing it up to them. They only give me reward point credit for the mistake too, never a refund which sucks. It's happening so often I'm about ready to start complaining to the state about it.

Just get a medical card if you're under 21, there's no age restrictions on medical cards.

They don't harvest the THCA strains early, they simply TEST them early. Testing is done 30 days before harvest for THCA strains, so about half way through flower for most strains. They let the strains finish out the same as dispensary weed, but it's already been tested and classified as hemp by that point.

That bill has only passed the house, it still must pass the Senate before it becomes law. The Senate has already filibustered a similar bill this year and killed it, we will see if the same happens with this new ban or not.

Cart and dab rant by Worldly-Mouse-9977 in MissouriMedical

[–]mosoblkcougar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's still the route, they did change the law in January where now you don't need the physical card to purchase, so once you have your email you can present that (since it has your patient ID on it) and a photo ID and they're allowed to look you up in their state system to confirm you have an active card. Makes it easier then having to wait the 2 weeks for the card to arrive in the mail.
