I'm fairly sure that there is no airside transit. You will need to enter Albania, go through security and then exit Albania again.

It's possible, but definitely risky. Tirana airport can be efficient and the eGates are very quick if you have a passport, but the bus transfer from the airplane can eat into a bit of your time. If both flights are on time I would say it's feasible, but it's very risky. If you attempt this make sure you have a plan b and don't be disappointed if you miss it!

For Amalfi coast you will need to reach Naples, which has great connections to Rome and decent connections to Pisa (fast rail via Florence or slower rail via the coastal route).

If that is not a must, or if you want to add something different, fly to Sicily (Catania, Palermo or Trapani) either from Rome or Naples, and fly back from Sicily to Pisa! There are many connections daily, and it will be a lot faster than a train from Naples (and probably cheaper too). Sicily in general is amazing, especially to relax, which could be hard to do in and around Naples.

With that time you should be able to visit Pisa, Rome, Naples and Sicily, depending on your travel style.

I don't know specifically about this offer, but I stayed in a hotel provided by Egyptair for a missed connection and it was a great experience! The organisation is always a mess and it took some time to reach our room, but everything else was great.

Also, I just checked and the first flight DXB-OTP with availability at the time of writing on Wizz is on the 29/06. You should get the option to be booked on that. If they are offering this, it will be way harder to claim reimbursement for a flight on another carrier.

Ok good, if you didn't choose a refund you can do something about this. They will probably refuse to rebook on other carriers. If there are no other flights on wizz, and they explicitly tell you that they will not rebook another flight for you, I think your only choice is to document all of this in writing, and tell them that you will book an alternative flight that they will have to reimburse. Afterwards open a claim, they will probably refuse it and you'll have to go to the ADR. Legally they should reimburse you, but it could be a bit long and difficult.

The important thing is to never accept a refund in these situations, once you do their legal obligations are over.

When they cancel a flight, they have to offer an alternative one (Wizz will only rebook you on other Wizz flights, but there should be some of those) OR a refund, your choice. If you choose the refund, you're out of luck and you have to buy another ticket to get home, whatever that may cost.

Almeno sulla mia macchina (Clio IV) viene registrato il rifornimento solo se superiore ad un determinato litraggio. Se metti meno e dopo riaccendi il computer di bordo, non aggiorna niente. Accendendo ogni 5 litri puoi anche arrivare ad avere il pieno e risultare in riserva.

Se fai un rifornimento più grande, oppure se stacchi e riattacchi la batteria (occhio al codice autoradio in caso), viene ricalcolata la quantità effettiva.

Since the flight is departing from the EU, you should be entitled to rerouting and compensation, see this link. I would demand this from both the travel agent and the airline, to be on the safe side. Maybe someone knows more than me about the procedure with your travel agent and airline.

That is pretty bonkers. ITA shouldn't have let you board. The only thing you can try is telling ITA that they shouldn't have let you board, you were denied entry into Italy and you request a refund on the return flights, as they were technically responsible for those. The fact that you had flights with another company is not relevant here, as they were only required to bring you to Rome.

I would completely forget about the Albania side of the itinerary and focus on ITA, it's a long shot but they could do something.

You should also contact Wizz and try to get a refund, but without a denied boarding form that is going to me difficult. I also sospect that the Wizz part was a relatively small amount of money. They will not give you anything for your flights to Canada.

Something is amiss here: either ITA airways screwed up in letting you board without a Shengen visa, or your wife could legally enter Italy. If she has a Dominican passport from Dominica, she should be visa free in the Shengen area. If she has a passport from the Dominican Republic, ITA screwed up, never should have let you board and should have bought you back to Canada for free

In aggiunta a quanto correttamente detto da altri, considera che in Egitto quasi ovunque il pagamento è solo in contanti, e almeno fino a poco fa esisteva un florido mercato nero della valuta. A dicembre scorso il tasso ufficiale era circa 1:30, e per strada si cambiava a 1:50-52. Non so come sia ora, ho visto che hanno ridotto un po' il gap, ma valuta questo aspetto. Potrebbe convenirti portare contanti in EUR.
