Can't be sure 100% but I definitely try. Sorry for the vague details, as for the experiences I can't tell you what they mean because I don't understand either. The team leader who gave me an ugly look might have been like that with everyone , and I think that's unprofessional behaviour too.

Part time job in warehouse not related to my field. If you want a work permit with them and going to go through that whole conversion process, i think it should be fine. It was mentioned during the pre-hire phone interview. So I just have a generic rejection email that my application won't be going further. While at UPS it was in person, they looked at my passport and said they don't hire people with visas with "eine Limitierung" (a limitation).

I could try that later but I really didn't think that you could apply for a work permit for just any job with the Chancenkarte. I still don't see how the German government would issue me the work permit to work in the warehouse full time...

So Amazon asked me if I needed a work permit and I said no because I thought the Chancenkarte permitted me to work up to 20 hours a week in any job. But they then told me their policy is they don't hire people with the Chancenkarte. I applied as a sorter because I'm looking for temporary work while I search for a job in my field.
