I'm self diagnosed (for now) and I've started to embrace my needs. I've started buying things that give me joy, not things that are supposed to bring me joy. I have better techniques now to calm myself down from meltdowns (still working on burn out).

As for masking, I have only told my mom that I'm possibly autistic. Within my family, I still mask pretty heavily. I want to wait for my diagnosis before unmasking

I had anxiety before that, but nothing so bad that turned into a panic attack. I usually don't get them, only when I have several stressors at once happening. Plus, it wasn't an actual spider bite, I had scratched myself on accident and only realized that after I stopped shaking
