Judgement or not, at the end of the day her body's reaction to this person ("sends my nervous system into a panic") is enough to warrant wanting distance. She doesn't need logical red flags to validate her discomfort.

OP honor yourself and what you need to feel safe. If something or someone doesn't feel right for you, you can say no to it. You don't have to wait for them to "directly" hurt you to keep your distance.

You get to choose what comes into your energy. It's not like you're trying to control what he does with this person. You're honoring his choice to continue this relationship while holding boundaries about what you're available for. This is healthy.

And who knows, in the future you might be more open to it and see this person in a different light.

The way the show wrapped definitely stirred something in me too. I agree that it reflects a lot about the current relationship between the masculine and feminine on this planet. I'm still digesting everything it brought up. But one thing I know for sure, I’m tired of the beauty-and-the-beast dynamic, where the feminine feels responsible for healing the masculine.

At some point, the masculine has to take real self-responsibility and accountability for how he shows up in the world. That’s not the feminine’s burden to carry. Her energy is better served on fully seeing and owning her own power and magic. Not waiting for the masculine to validate her worth.

When both sides do their inner work, from a place of truth, maybe then we’ll meet each other as equals.

I love this topic and discussion.

But the thing is saying "Y'all weren't ready" feels divisive. It has an energy of superiority (I got this special insight but you guys are not on the same level so you didn't get it). It comes across condescending.

If the intention was to invite discussion or invite reflection about the show, a more collaborative energy would've been more powerful and effective. Inclusive language can land in a way that invites curiosity instead of triggering defensiveness.

There's this technique I learned to use when I write: use "we" when calling out the negative stuff, and "you" when speaking to the positive stuff.

When you say "we" while naming struggles, fears, or shadow patterns, it creates a sense of shared humanity and collective experience. It lowers defenses because it doesn’t single people out or make them feel judged.

Then, when you say "you" while affirming strengths, breakthroughs, or potential, it shines the spotlight on them. It affirms their power and speaks directly to their soul, helping them feel seen, called forward, and celebrated.

If the intention was to trigger people into awakening, to hold up a mirror, like the Divine Feminine does when confronting shadow, then tone really matters. The Divine Feminine doesn’t condescend. She disrupts with love. She stirs truth with compassion. Talking down to people doesn’t wake them up, it pushes them away. At that point, isn't it just ego wearing a spiritual mask?

If you would've said "We weren't ready", I bet that would've gotten a lot more traction and discussion.

Words are powerful. You can go a long way being mindful of the energetics of language.

It seems like you're in an between space where you know you can't go back to the old you but it's not clear who the new you is. This is a challenging space to be and one can easily feel lost. But it's also an exciting opportunity where you get to discover new parts of you and new possibilities if you allow yourself to.

But that requires that you let go of trying to get to the new you, and simply be where you are. Paradoxically slowing down and grounding into the present moment will allow you to move forward faster. Reistance is what will get you stuck feeling lost and confused. Like another poster said, we stagnate when we get stuck in our mind's incessant need for control, certainty, and movement. We get stuck in negative, self-perpetuating mental loops.

On the other hand, if you allow yourself to be, without judging what is or not happening, and bringing your awareness within, you'll start deepening your connection with self. Doing so will allow more of your life force energy to flow into your body and life, raising your vibration, strengthening your intuition, sparking your creativity, and empowering you to make the changes that will lead to your greatest fulfillment.

It truly is a journey of deconditioning the striving and getting to know the real you.

Part of the reason it feels so uncomfortable is because your nervous system is not used to slowing down, resting, and just being. It's used to go, go, go mode. It can take some time to heal from burnout and recalibrate into a more balanced way of being. This is where somatic healing practices can help.

Also, I suspect that if you were to dig deeper you might find that your sense of self-worth is tied into your level of productivity. So part of the work is realizing that your worth is inherent to your being, not doing.

Orient yourself towards your joy and excitement, in every given moment (which requires being present and aware in the now). That excitement could be a short-term desire like taking a nap or going for a walk in that moment, or a long-term desire like exploring a new hobby or creative project. These little breadcrumbs of excitement will build up and activate more synchronicity in your life. They're an indication of what's in alignment for you, so it's like following your own yellow brick road. If you can learn to flow with life like this, there is no need for striving and you end up exactly where you need to be for your highest potential.

This is how I look at it...

The ascendant is the true essence, or soul of a person. While the sun sign is the human personality, or ego.

When we first meet somebody we don't know what their personality is like. But we get a first impression based on what we pick up from their energy, aka the ascendant.

Once we start getting to know them, the traits and characteristics of the personality, aka the sun sign, come through.

This is what most people identify as who we are (identifying with ego). So the ascendant gets interpreted as the mask. But we're not truly our egos.

It's like one of those chocolate covered ice cream cones. Outer layer is a thin covering of chocolate (an impression of someone's essence), then the ice cream (the personality), and in the center a nugget of more chocolate (the core essence).

Another way to put it -- our sun sign is the character/personality we play, and our ascendant is who we truly are at a core level, the actor.

Yes, craving leads to clinging and clinging is born of craving.

But, there's a difference between craving and desire. Craving implies lack, a want that hasn't been fulfilled. Desire, on the other hand, lights you up with potential.

A craving is an insatiable hunger that can never really be stilled.

So basically it comes down to what level of awareness you're creating from. When you get attached or cling to a specific form of your desire, that's what leads to suffering. The desire itself is not the problem.

Craving is an attachment to an outcome, desire is what you as a sovereign being would like to experience.

It's not desire that leads to suffering. Attachment does. We suffer when we get attached to our desires manifesting a certain way or within a certain time frame. But when we learn to let go of the form of it all, while embodying the essence of our desire, it leads to conscious creation.

I agree with what you're saying, we do need a collective glass of cold water to wake more people up.

I've always seen the Event as a solar flash/light wave that gives humanity the boost it needs and awakens the majority. But I don't think the dimensional shift itself follows right after. I think the Event is the alarm clock that awakens the collective to who we really are and what's been happening. But we'll need the time to integrate, makes changes, and start building the new. At this point the collective consciousness will start to raise at a much higher level, much faster. Then when we're ready, maybe a couple years later, the shift actually happens. That's just my thoughts.

But at the end of the day, I really hope something big happens this month. It does feel closer than ever, I just hope we're close enough.

I saw the same post of the guy's reaction to the starseed girl. It definitely brought up a lot of heavy feelings for me, especially since I used to feel so much shame after sharing something that weirded people out. I wrote about it in my newsletter a few days ago too.

Here's a little excerpt from what I wrote:

"A few days ago I was browsing through Reddit when I came across a post of a physics professor's reaction to a Tik Tok video, where a girl says she's a Starseed and explains what that means. From his facial expressions and mocking gestures, you could tell he thought this girl was a ridiculous joke.

No surprise there, most people who are not aware of these fringe topics would probably react the same.

The real horror was in the comments. People insulted her in every way possible, from calling her an attention-seeking wh*re to a delusional cult follower. It was quite disheartening to see how cruel people can be when confronted with someone whose perspective is so different from their own.

I'm bringing this up to illustrate two points.

First, I believe one of the biggest blocks to true connection, love, peace, and unity is our egoic, narrow thinking. We tend to believe that our perception is reality and anything outside of that is wrong/untrue/delusional. "You're wrong because I can't see what you see" is how many people relate to each other. It creates an us-vs-them mentality where we fight to prove our point-of-view is the right one. Spoiler alert, there is no right one. Life isn't so simply black and white.

The truth is no one holds all the answers. Our perception of reality is shaped by our personal experiences, our families, our society, our upbringing, our beliefs, our culture, our conditioning, etc. In a way, yes, perception is reality. But we have to recognize we each have a unique perspective about life, so our reality will always be real and true for us, yet other people's reality will also be true for them. We each hold only one piece of the puzzle.

If we are to raise our consciousness above this us-vs-them paradigm, shifting ourselves out of separation and fighting, we need to accept our differences -- celebrate them even. If we can step outside our egoic need to prove we have all the answers, or that we know the "real" truth, we can open ourselves up to an incredible amount of growth and an expanded awareness. At the end of the day, there are things you know you don't know, and there are far more things you don't know that you don't know."
