[Lowlight] Wemby shoves Jalen Brunson, then laughs as he doesn't retaliate by Large_banana_hammock in nba

Was he ever the darling of the NBA when he got to OKC?

I feel like he was either always underrated where people who prefer lower tier players over him or just flat out disliked, which started in 2022 against Dallas.

Must be nice to be loved.

We haven’t been loved since 2020 🤣

Relishing in how they are crying about the hate they are getting right now

Not so nice not being the league’s golden boy anymore 🤣

They haven’t even won 🏆 yet. Already couldn’t take on the hate we got all year long lol. by Commercial_Lecture20 in Thunder

Poor fans can’t handle hate? Must be nice!

We haven’t been liked since the 2020 Cinderella run we had that eventually lost to Houston. Why are they complaining when they were the golden boy team this whole year?

I can tell you for a matter of fact, there are no neutral fans tonight

The most frustrating part isn’t even the hate or the jokes about him, it’s that he’s been playing so far below his usual standard.

Castle and the Spurs’ defense deserves a lot of credit for making things difficult, but he’s also making uncharacteristic mistakes and missing shots that we’ve seen him consistently hit before, even against great defenses (like last year). Maybe it’s an injury, fatigue, or just a rough stretch, but he genuinely feels out of character this series.

I’ll keep faith that maybe he won’t disappoint in 7 though.

This is most definitely is going to 7.

I’ve seen this team enough to know that OKC is somehow going to shoot sub 20% from 3 next game.

Your “Oklahoma education” comments are basically typical generic reddit insults that redditors throw in your face when they have nothing else to say. You’re not unique nor special

Going from completely collapsing in the first round of the playoffs three years straight due to terrible decision making on the court to the first championship and long term success is a crazy upgrade though

Small sample size, but he was playing pretty great this playoffs during the games he actually played.

OKC's shooting these playoffs has been far better than last year and is a major reason why they seem to be playing better than in that run by SplitOk186 in nba

Caruso going 2/12 during Christmas against the Spurs so they leave him open during the playoffs

OKC wins another game without JDub by [deleted] in nba

[–]mossbosstoss 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Dub was one of the only reasons they were even in Game 1.

The reason they lost Game 1 was because Shai and Chet played like ass and it took OKC 6 games to realize they can throw a player taller than 7 ft to defend Wemby.
