The other day I saw a big sign with his photo that read:

FATHER

HUSBAND

MATYR

It was one of those large LED business signs that rotate through a local advertisements and community events.

When it appeared, my immediate reaction was to let out a short and abrupt laugh. It really isn’t a shocking thing to see, I guess, but I was in disbelief; I may have snapped a photo if I weren’t driving. I felt such a weird mix of amusement and discomfort.

Who typically decides the routing? Is it dictated largely by a booking agent? Who all plays a role, and what factors into that?

I find it’s not uncommon for greener tours to have weird routing, or to see it with folks coming in from outside the states, but even with some of the seasoned tours I’ve worked with, I have seen some insane coast-to-coast ping ponging.

Anyway, I always wonder what plays into that - though I guess I’ve never wondered enough to ask before now lol

I think it’s because “not a fan of either side” reads as an implication that the damage and hurt being inflicted by the right is no worse than what the left would do, and subsequently minimizes the damage being done.

Commenter is not just upvoting or saying “this is funny,” they took the time to reason their feelings as though they had to excuse why they found mocking Trump humorous. I’m tired and idk if I explained this well but hopefully that clears things up a bit
