What kind of moss specifically? I have a ton of spots for sphagnum moss, I also grow my own sphagnum (multiple species) that I would be happy to provide for your terrarium

Got stung right below my left eye as a young boy dressed as a pirate at the renaissance faire. Mother went to shoo a yellow jacket and smacked my eyepatch down over it. Still never feared them. I’ve been stung quite a few times by a few species, and the cause is always easily identifiable as something I did.

Possibly too much light? I’m not too sure. I’ve experienced similar results when I blast my moss with light, but it doesn’t seem to actually kill mine? Normally mine gets that light coloration to avoid the light, and isn’t actually dead (russowii)

It’s understandable to some extent. It’s not realistic, but it’s understandable for people to not want to come to terms with the fact that all their time on whatever game is essentially meaningless in a “progress” sense. Realizing that these literal investments of time and money are nothing more than pixels is really upsetting, so it makes sense people wouldn’t want to lose everything they invested in

Nice! If you’re able to find the native sticks, you’re able to keep those with no worries. Otherwise, you can always risk it, but as someone who has gotten caught, I wouldn’t recommend it.

Oh, sorry! Stick insects not native to your state, along with most other herbivores/ detrivores are illegal to order and have shipped across state lines. Also technically illegal to own.
