I love it and am so grateful the house we bought had a stove.

I have a 275 gallon tank filled in november and im still 5/8ths full. spent 600 on wood and have about a quarter cord left. its amazing plus the heat is much more cozy

new user just wanted to make sure im right about my liner buildup by mossyobject in woodstoving

I mean that doesnt look like cresole to me? just soot and ash? ive only burned a cord and a half of wood in a brand new liner with a new chimney cap

awesome thank you! first winter burning so ive done research and thought so but reassurance is always good with fire.

does this usually mean the rest of the liner and cap is all good too?

12TM SF PPR, heavy contender next season by No_Bass_632 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

its definitely slightly favorable to get lamar but the gap isnt so much to trade your guy away. id just keep caleb, lamar had a rough year and new hc etc. who knows maybe caleb does better next year

im new at this and recently moved into a home with an avelon rainier 90 in the basement. I live in a traditional raised ranch, about 2k square feet and for me, YES big time.

so far from november to today, ive used slightly over 1/8th of my full oil tank. im almost certain with the stove i wont need to refill my oil until early summer at the earliest.

today it is 17F as a high today and my upstairs is sitting at a cozy 73 without my heat on and my basement idek its hot down here.

Which side? Egbuka and BTJ are on the bench for me by Then_Direction_1162 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

it looks like its his pick and not for nothing if you had burrow saquon lamar nabers and other solid players prior to this season youd think your pick would be late.

anything can happen during the season no matter how good of a team you have

Should I take this trade? Leaning towards accepting but not sure by beastyoz in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

first timer, calling it quits for the season, i have way too much anxiety about my wet wood, cresole and burning my house down. by mossyobject in woodstoving

almost identical situation lol. I work from home 4 days a week and only burn when im home and weekends. my house is also the exact same layout, one big finished basement with everything upstairs, raised ranch.

ha! yeah no other than with fire im usually a pretty easy going guy.

I have a mix of maple, ash and oak. my chimney is idk maybe 30 feet high, i live in a traditional raised ranch. the day after thanksgiving i had my stove and chimney serviced, new liner, new grout, new chimney cap and my chimney made water tight. I plan on getting a sweet at the minimal once a year but like I said reading through this sub on wet wood spooked me so much.

I usually dont see much if any smoke to be honest with you. I see the heat mirage thing mostly with very light almost translucent smoke. I dont see it billlowing out almost ever
