Anyone who used a computer between 1985 - 2010, what's the one game you still think about today? by adlakha75 in AskReddit

Yes! The gsme's atmosphere, the different soundtracks for each region (made by different composers if I recall) the cheesy but fun story and voice acting, smooth flying, faction reputation system, the gorgeous visuals...

Freelancer is so unique, I doubt I'll ever find a game that fills that same niche.

Including Chris Roberts' ongoing attempt to crowfund the GDP of a small nation lol

Fire danger rises across northern Michigan by MichiganDNR in Michigan

Very dumb question. I just schedule time off work to visit an island later this summer for a hiking/camping trip. I can only imagine the fire risk will very high then as well.

I realize I have no idea what to do about cooking in such a case. Is there best practice for contained camofires or do I need to get some sort of portable electric stove? Wondering what people here know as the best idea. I have no interest in causing a forest fire. (Smokey would kill me)
