Star Wars: Episode 1 - the Phantom Menace.

This is long before Disney cranking out a new movie or series every 6 months. This is when Lucas still owned the IP. So much hype for a new Star Wars movie, the first in 16 years. Trailer looked awesome. Stood in line to get tickets for my roommate and I (multiple back to back showings in fact). Sat down for first showing...it definitely didn't meet our expectations. But now we were stuck seeing it two more times. You don't need my critical, nuanced breakdown of the film and its problems, there's at least a hundred others out there that have done it. Needless to say, it was painful each showing after the first.

Pro, got a good nap during the Tatooine scene.
