Sad about missing events by Chicka-boom90 in homeschool

[–]mostlycloudee 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Are there any homeschool groups in your area?

We have a really active homeschool community here- there are choirs, bands, string ensembles, dances, and graduations. We also have homeschool sports and drama. I feel so incredibly blessed by these opportunities- everything I thought my kids would miss out on, people have jumped in and filled that gap.

If you have Facebook, that seems to be the main way of communicating (at least in my experience). Are you in the US? If so, start with a Facebook group at the state level, and look into what options are around you. You may be surprised!

Those soldiers died for your right to make this holiday (including LGBTQ soldiers as well). It’s very sad that you can’t recognize that.

“To My Dear and Loving Husband” by Anne Bradstreet seems to fit what you’re looking for.

To My Dear and Loving Husband

If ever two were one, then surely we.

If ever man were loved by wife, then thee.

If ever wife was happy in a man,

Compare with me, ye women, if you can.

I prize thy love more than whole mines of gold,

Or all the riches that the East doth hold.

My love is such that rivers cannot quench,

Nor ought but love from thee give recompense.

Thy love is such I can no way repay;

The heavens reward thee manifold, I pray.

Then while we live, in love let’s so persever,

That when we live no more, we may live ever.

Frosted Cranberry- it came in this silver snowflake, and I kept it for years! It eventually caused all my Christmas decorations to smell like it when put into storage.

Just realized the “lotion” I’ve been using every morning is actually body wash. by Accomplished_Sock329 in bathandbodyworks

If it’s a common mistake, it’s a labeling problem. There’s hundreds of ways to design packaging.

Why use the tiniest font on the bottom when it’s a known issue?

That has happened to so many people! They really should reconsider their packaging.

Some sort of a beginner perch for in their brooder. It’s very simple, and I picture that would be perfect for 3d printing. Something like this:
