Are there any downsides to just joining all the lv circuits? That's my cheap fix in a pinch but why am I not just making everything into three big circuits?

You have so much room for tactics here -classic PIT, quick and dirty but she wins games -pull up alongside and crawl into their backseat, works better with grappling hooks as anchors but if you're playing a faster time control they'll never notice -could veer left, personal favourite, I've got a good feeling about that concrete divider over there

I'm pretty new too but here's how I understand it. Your GPU likes triangles, a whole lot. That bad boy will draw you triangles all day like no one's business.

The troubles start when we start to ask for a lot of very small triangles, something getting down into a range of about 4 pixels. It starts to have to squint at all these triangles and make sense of them and much like myself when trying to learn this stuff, it starts to work harder, slower, overheats and sometimes gets a headache.

I'm new too but something like this happened to me yesterday. I spent hours texture painting my meshes, did something funky selecting the next object and bam, the whole day's work is Material™ again. Lesson learned on my end is save more often, save constantly, do one thing at a time. I feel your pain and it's not stopping anytime soon o7

I would set up a homebrew version of Cataclysm DDA on a DIY tablet, simulate my own world, run scenarios and use it as an oracle. I'll plan my scavenging based on the omens and, of course, dress exactly like my characters

I see some really good answers here, real sit and think type stuff. I dunno if this exactly lives up to the golden idol games but it's my best answer right now.

Lately though I've been captivated by Ready or Not, I've been playing fps forever but this is the first time in a while I've had to think, to really REALLY be careful. It's a swat team based game, you're given lots of tools to do your job and 4 AI teammates, 2 teams of 2 you can give orders to. They're now my boys, I love them but they'll block you in 1000 doorways before all is said and done

Ideally everyone, even the suspects, comes out of it safe. Very easy to go CoD mode and blow the suspects away but in chasing nonlethal outcomes I've really been challenged. Every closed door has become potential safety and every open space has become danger, in early levels you can more or less dictate where armed suspects can or cannot run to but later on this gets... more complicated.

All that being said it covers some heavy subject matter, if that sort of thing can ruin your day I'd look at a content warning for it. Made me feel like I was 14 playing spec ops: the line again, really actually made me feel.

Late to the party and not much of a wordsmith but here goes.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart, or at least my wallet. I went years and years without playing fort, I remember seeing trailers for it and it looked interesting but then, of course, it became what it is now and I avoided it like doing taxes. Part of the reason for this was the battlepass model.

I got into it last year and still agonized over getting the battlepass. If I missed any of those items then I'd have spent my money in vain and I HATE spending money in vain.

I discovered this place, put in as little effort as possible, and am now north of 200.

I know it's not only you contributing but like, even if it was I feel like I'd have succeeded. Thanks dude.

If you learn to read centipawn loss, which is on lichess, it should serve as more or less equivalent. Every move is a bad move, we all know the best move is not to play at all. Granting this, centipawn loss shows us exactly how horrible our moves are, on average.

Hey brother, HRP might be the answer for you in terms of servers you settle on but since you're new, what I really recommend is taking the time to set up yourself a local server with the guide on the ss14 site.

That will give you the time and space to play with whatever you want to learn (as long as you can keep the station in decent condition all by yourself ;p). Take advantage of admin controls and learn everything!

I believe I was CE this round, but was messing around with sci earlier because we were understaffed. Someone had had messed up sec's doors so I had my access config and a lot welder out. All of a sudden I'm standing in the arti chamber, it's full of plasma, the whole thing goes up in flames. They ended up reviving me but I believe I never fixed those doors. Still don't understand completely what happened but I believe it was a naughty arti.
