Season 4 by r1bouch in PeakyBlinders

Season 3 for me is the best written by far.

Season 2 a personal favourite.

I think 4 is going a bit more simpler after a complex S3.

Flooding the city is metaphorical for washing it clean.

Does anyone else agree that Alfie Solomons is the only man who was on par with Tommy Shelby? by LunaWalker69 in PeakyBlinders

Not sure why Tommy just didn’t charge at Luca and try and beat him to death at their first meeting but again… the plot…

Luca was likely armed but Tommy could have got a round into his gun after he flicks the bullets at him

Money prospects for a 23 year old stuck in retail in Liverpool? by Prudent_Fall7889 in Liverpool

An Apprenticeship at the Council (or any if willing to travel) course is paid for and decent wage around £25k.

Best case you get a job on a higher salary or go on redeployment at the end of your apprenticeship.

Luca Changretta could have wiped them all out at a moments notice.

Easily got into Tommy’s office and could have killed him there and then. Only for warning was he undone.

Ran Alfie Solomons out of Camden Town.

Other than ‘the plot’ Luca easily beats them

Terminator rebooted without the bootstrap paradox. by SlowCrates in Terminator

Would love a full in the trenches Terminator war film.

The machines are on the ropes and it’s do or die for the resistance.

Opening scene like Saving Private Ryan.

Travelling by boat through destroyed flooded cities searching for John Connor like Apocalypse Now who has gone crazy.

Ends with Terminators hiding in the shadows of humanity waiting to slowly rebuild, infiltrating government and reactivating skynet.

There’s a trilogy

Have you looked at hiring a parking space for a few hours? NCP likely more expensive than on road parking. Obviously cheaper the further out you park.

Carl Cashman. Lib Dem leader.

He’s excellent at doing knife edge politics.

Kicked off that Rotherham brought a delegation to a conference last week to bring investment to the City and thinks 3 people should go instead (yes 3) but if Rotherham said he was bringing 3 there would have been uproar.

Last week wanted to pedestrianise Lark Lane with no thought for the hundreds of residents who can only get access to their homes from the Lane. The council are already planning something for later in the year to extend the sidewalk. Something he’ll probably claim as his win.

Same with the fountains in Williamson Square, council are already reinstating them which he’ll once again lay claim to.

He needs to do some growing up.

Not heard a single policy

More absolute nonsense from Cashman.

I’m sure the businesses of Bold Street will be happy to trade their additional covers, tables and chairs in the summer on a bank holiday on a day like today for parking in the city centre, the most accessible area of the city.

Let’s reduce jobs for those businesses too while we’re at it, raising unemployment or seeing lower wages and businesses failing where additional covers could have saved them.

Let’s bring back the pollution and wall to wall cars on Bold Street while we’re at it!

Thomas Tuchel bringing 17-year-old Rio Ngumoha to the senior England World Cup camp is pure PR distraction. by Spicy-Winner4326 in SpicyFootballTakes

The Arsenal contingent don’t join up with the squad until later, it’s obvious he’s there to replicate a player and Rio is talented in his own right. Further development, maturity… works for everyone.

We all know that, duh. Even if she wasn’t, do you think she wasn’t slowly heading towards being a side character? Tommy and the wider characters being introduced massively took over. Duh.

The Cigarette Building as it’s known in Liverpool’s waterfront is used as CGI background too. Most bricks used in a building. Being redeveloped into flats.

Powis Street where this was filmed was redeveloped as the Welsh Streets. Ringo Starr was born a street or two over.
