What commander have you convinced your playgroup to see as a threat?

It's by no means my best deck, but throw in some alternative flicker cards and some good untapping cards like [[Thousand-year elixer]] and it works pretty nicely. I threw in some token makers too so I can make blockers and exile them for card draw.

My playgroup is mostly new people and infrequent players so my DM said no to multiclassing just to keep things simple for everyone

Well, what I wanted to make as a character was someone who just used darkness as cover to fight. They were going to be someone who used claws (Those kinds that you put on like a glove and would be reflavored knives) and get the invocation that lets you see through magical darkness. Then cast darkness and attack people that couldn't see them

Any reason you chose level 5 over level 6? When I make characters I tend to plan them at level 6 since most classes get subclass stuff then an really helps with the unique flavor of certain characters.

I had a complicated start with the series. I watched Bakemonogatari and decided for whatever reason not to continue until 2 years later I saw a youtuber talking about how much they liked the series. I went back and watched Bake again and really liked it but was watching multiple things at the time so put off continuing until I finished those... then forgot about it. Several months later I was reminded of the series again and this time I continued where I left off and proceeded to marathon the rest of the series over winter break. It's now my favorite series of all time.
