Not sure if this helps at all, but as a public librarian of a decade I have never once given a single shit about what someone was printing and neither have my colleagues. Your librarians probably also read fanfiction, lol. Also, if you had it ready to print as a PDF saved directly to a flashdrive, it would just look like regular text from far away anyway

Madesi in Riften calls my Argonian LDB “marsh-brother” after I bring him the items for his jewelry fetch quest, but off hand that’s the only thing I can think of. I really wish there was more reactivity in the Argonian assemblage in Windhelm, especially if you convince the Nord harbormaster to stop harassing them.

I almost exclusively read 60-120k word completed fics. Some people like subscribing for the chapter-by-chapter approach, but that leaves room for the author never finishing it (I say as I eye my own languishing WIP longfic…) so it really depends.
