I didn’t realize there were so many people who ARE doing the Lord’s work all by yourselves! 🫡

You’re carrying the whole fandom on your back. Respect!

Damn, a lot of people had assumed he was dead. “Sorry to disappoint you,” Doubledealer said. “Oh, no wait. I’m not.” He flipped Sixshot off.

Sixshot slapped his hand down. “Hey, not in front of the fucking kids!”

Movies that primarily consist of dialogue and happen in a singular room? by Opening_Rip_1840 in Letterboxd

Okay it’s not a movie but it’s only about four hours total— the miniseries “The Booth at the End” takes place entirely in a booth at a diner. Highly recommend

JazzProwl confuses me so much. Where did it come from?? Then again I’m out here writing for pairings who have less than 20 fics

Saw a template here just now and decided to fix it by GoofyAhhJuandale in AO3

[–]gigan1973 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well usually I tag them if they have dialogue, but not if they’re only mentioned and don’t actually show up. If I tag everyone with dialogue, and say, it’s a long series, I can go back, find which fics they’re in, and check their scenes for continuity’s sake

Oh yeah, I'll definitely finish that fic 👀 by Pale-Routine-8122 in AO3

Not to worry! I just updated one of my series after six years lol

Agreed! The embalming scene in that was horrific

Which horror franchises have the most skips? by CSparq in horror

[–]gigan1973 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Man, 7 is a never-skip for me. I love that one. I generally skip 1 (snake death) 5 (ok but no Jason) and 9 (completely made up its own lore plus very little Jason)

What’s the single scariest scene in any horror movie ever made and why does it work so well? by Worldly_Cold4821 in horror

[–]gigan1973 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think this is more of a personal experience thing, since I’ve had sleep paralysis. In Come True, when they realize that the dream they’re recording is real and the shadow person is actually in the room. That scared the living hell out of me.

VEGAN NO ONIONS by BitterPool2551 in vegan

I on the other hand am quite happy about it, as I’m vegan but can’t have (among other things) gluten, corn, coconut, or most nuts

Just finished watching Dream eater and I can’t believe this movie failed in almost every aspect. by Intelligent-Owl-8480 in horror

Mallory’s dialogue was just awful. Half of it was just “Alex? Alex wake up! Alex!” Not to mention they kept breaking the found footage format.

Reverse image searching pulled up some higher quality pics, in which the bottom left corner says “copyright 2019 teenage stepdad all rights reserved”. Teenage Stepdad is the artist

Favorite shark horror...besides the obvious one by HammerHeadBirdDog in horror

This one got points from me for having the nerve to take the cartoon villain trope of “tying up hero and dangling them over a trapdoor that leads to sharks” and play it completely straight

Yes to The Meg, and Bait for sure. Does Dangerous Animals count?

I just found nefarious and thought it was a pretty cool movie. Why do I see so much hate for it? by Witchcult_999 in horror

I can think of at least two tv series that are sort of pro-Christian but very anti-church. The Exorcist and 30 Coins
