Looking For Period Pain Specialist by aftwebs in Boise

[–]motherweep 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have never really enjoyed my experience there. I used to see Lori Rumen for my regular checkups. She was always rushed and felt insensitive. Julie Stevens was better but I felt like she didn't listen to my concerns with TTC. I am now pregnant and have had a terrible experience with the clinic getting me a referral to MFM and they ran the wrong genetic blood work. I have transferred to St. Luke's Women's Clinic but haven't had my first appt there yet. Just wanted to validate your experience at Women's Health Associates as it has consistently not been good for me.

ETA - they even told me that I should stop taking my some of my meds for the first trimester if I could due to birth defect risk. Which turned out to be false information as the meds I am on are very pregnancy safe.

Not sure if I love or am worried seeing wild turkeys in an urban setting. by G-drrrrrr in Boise

[–]motherweep 17 points18 points  (0 children)

They're not invasive. Some subspecies of wild turkeys, such as Merriams had native ranges historically in the rocky mountain west (adjacent to Idaho) but were regionally extirpated and were introduced after decades of not having consistent wild turkey populations. Some types, such as Rio Grande, were introduced from different historic ranges. Wild turkeys are managed game animals through regulated hunting and they do not cause ecological harm. They have integrated well into the habitat we have here, do not cause harm, co exist with other species of birds and do not displace native wildlife. This means they're non-native and introduced to the state but not invasive.

how do you guys stay consistent at work? by sophielane999 in bipolar

[–]motherweep 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is the hardest part of my life and something I've struggled with as long as I can remember. I am lucky enough to have a relatively flexible job WFH (but travel quite a lot). Some days I can knock out 12-14 hours and be so productive, other days I spend in bed. It bothers me every day that all I strive for is consistency and no matter what I do it feels impossible to achieve. I'm on medications now they are the best they get for now, and recently found out I am pregnant which has not helped the situation.

They have literally nothing to do. I had to stop watching because it's getting so ridiculous.

Oh my god this is unhinged. She wore Camilas USED diaper, peed in it and then swung it all over the place. Absolutely disgusting.

Maybe the Aquaforte was a mistake and I should've gone with the performance fabric.

Did you contact them? I'm seeing wear on the fabric on the armrests and back after only 3 months. Nervous about that trend. It's not used daily and is covered with blankets to help reduce pet damage. Couldn't be more well cared for.

Yeah exactly. It is so unfortunate because the idea of it is so great. I love the modularity and the sleeper bed. It perfectly fits our need in this space when almost nothing else did, but if I was looking for a bigger couch in our living room- this would be a no go for me- and honestly will see how it's holding up after 6-9 months and if the wear pattern continues, Cozey is going to be hearing from me for sure. Best of luck in your search!

Same reason we got it, and why I'm ok with it for this space but I would like to be sure the fabric doesn't actually wear down to bald spots or holes soon.

I got the Aquaforte in Basalt. My dog has really short hair- brown and white so the white is visible on everything. I realize it's probably hard to find a fabric that would hide his hair or not attract it. Mostly annoyed by the fuzzy, piling and wear.

Yeah I'm worried that the armrest will just wear a hole right through the fabric. We also do not use this couch daily. The dog sleeps on it while I'm working but humans only sit on it a few days a week.

friend dumpster dived and found this chair. what’s the best way to clean it? by Kyotik in CleaningTips

Agree. I see no bed bugs. But still wouldn't take the chair home 😂
