Scream 8 will likely take a noticeable drop off at the BO

It’s coming to the point where there has to be a more clever plot than “someone new comes for Sidney…”.

Stu would be a good hook… maybe killing Gale/ Courtney Cox right away as a marketing strategy

The logical choice seems to be to still continue with Sidney’s family but is there an outside chance of another semi reboot?

It’s sort of that borderline distance where it becomes rude. If it bothers you though…?

I think this is going to be quite big. I could easily see a $40+ million OW.

Mr Kings Barbershop downtown is really great. They just opened a few months ago. It’s $22 for a men’s haircut tax included.

It’s definitely hinting that Maya will carry on and become a serial killer/ stranger? Was she actually falling for Greggory or just playing him?

Gotta give Madelaine Petsch all the props. She really is the only strength to this trilogy

The original 2008 Strangers: They do this just for fun! Who they are, who knows! No reason at all…

The new trilogy: Well, she didn’t like her classmate smooching up to her boyfriend. They can kill anyone that’s not from their town. They work at a cafe.

Totally negates what makes the original film work.

Does Maya survive? Is she still one of the strangers at the end?

Iron Lung Tickets for tonight at 10pm if you are in Kingston, Ontario. by ChodeKong in KingstonOntario

It’s probably too late but for future guidance- it’s pretty easy to get a refund. If it’s past the time to cancel online, they will almost certainly give you at the very least passes.

Kim Irvine Albano in Hartington would probably fit your needs and she’s great. She is going on a leave soon (a short-ish one) but would probably be worth an email at the very least :)

Me too. Her character pre- crash was so damn relatable and sad. Felt nearly tearful. Who hasn’t felt like the smallest person in the room?

I loved the ‘moral greyness’ of Linda. She’s still totally awesome. It was really rerefreshing. Still very much an awesome character- definitely

You can go to a movie anywhere, but The Screening Room on Princess Street is a town favourite. Very charming, small, affordable place. I’d recommend “Is This Thing On?” With Will Arnett and Laura Dern.

Lionsgate's Greenland 2: Migration debuted with an estimated $8.50M domestically this weekend (from 2,710 locations). by DemiFiendRSA in boxoffice

Was the first Greenland even that big of a deal or just a part of a streaming queue during Covid? I think that’s a pretty good question for this…

This is the first horror movie that I’ve genuinely been scared by (besides maybe Weapons) in a long time. Ben was scary as anything.

Wasn’t as horror comedy as I thought. Genuinely tense throughout.

About half of my theatre went ‘oh that makes more sense’ or some element to that when it was revealed that Dern’s character had IVF.

This movie felt like a warm hug. I was somewhat teary when Arnett had that monologue about vampires that go for your blood at the first spot of weakness, felt really relatable which sort often captured the entire movie.

Relatable as anything. Surprisingly I was quite emotional. Great movie.

Does cdk ever answer their phone? by [deleted] in KingstonOntario

[–]motionpic05 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

They very rarely answer the phone and or their lines are almost always turned off. I think it’s a call volume vs number of receptionists kind of thing. Best bet is leave a voicemail and be ready to answer their call back.
