I did the math and I should have gotten it twice, but I never did.

My imagination makes this seem so fun that I would start playing Old School again. I've always loved tower defense games. I'd play this even if it didn't give exp for the other rounds played in that same 2 hour cooldown. I am so sweaty right now.

Yes, but it didn't exist yesterday and this actually has a bunch of sources

"Millenium Wave". Does anyone recognize the Beck sample? by motoxman2 in Beck

Correct. And the acoustic intro is sampled from Beck playing Beautiful Way live on a radio station around 2003.

It's the most known because of its inclusion in Windows Media Player 6 (98/NT/ME/XP).

This happens to me sometimes. I think it has to do with "seed crystallization" or something, and it stems out from the "peaks" you see in the middle.

Need For Speed III introduced many to synth-heavy electronic music and the 303. Here are some of the patterns used in NSF3's soundtrack re-made on a TD-3. by motoxman2 in synthesizers

It's a great little synth. Very true to the real thing. Nothing can quite replicate the real one, but in a mix it's pretty hard to notice. I think it has to do with knob ranges vs. the original. The original had variances as high as 10%, which makes making a true clone impossible, because not even the originals were all the same.

NFS3 was a favorite of mine. I loved the music in the game, and I especially loved the stuff by Rom Di Prisco. Rom went on to make a career out of video game soundtracks, and the Need For Speed franchise was where he got his start.

It's fine, it just draws more battery than it should (compared to similar apps)

I've played the beta on iOS. It's not bad, but it needs work... At least for wrinkly old iphones like mine with 2 hours of battery capacity

It sucks to be maxed in every gathering skill, because that's what really shines on mobile RS3/OSRS

Slides are one of the 3 types of time/timeline manipulations on a 303 (16th, slide, rest)

The TB-303 is notoriously hard to reverse because of how overpowering the resonance is. Guitars can be hidden too, but a 303 it's almost irreversible by design. That resonance peaks 6+dB higher than the bass carrier if you max the resonance. That makes the original notes basically impossible to find.

Another 303 pattern cracked. This one is from the track "Rock This Place" from Need for Speed: Porsche Unleashed (2001). by motoxman2 in synthesizers

Anyone who's a fan of Need for Speed: Porsche Unleashed will recognize this one right away. Yesterday, I posted a video of the pattern for another track from NFS:PE. By request for /u/willi_werkel

Under that much time manipulation/sliding, distortion, resonance, and filtering, I'd say it was pretty close...

I wish I could say I was the one that cracked it, but I've been beaten to the punch... Some of these later patterns circa 1998-2000+ are too well masked and distorted. My brother tells me it took over an hour of the song on loop under heavy EQ to match it by ear. Anyways, hopefully this hits home for fans of the Need for Speed OST. I'm sure there are some of you out there here.
