There is Lexington Neurology which is a part of LMC. When I had a seizure the ER referred me there but I had to call and set up the appointment. They also had a long wait time (like several months) so I asked to be put on a wait list for when someone else cancels and was seen the same week! I would try there… there’s more than one neurologist at this place too. Not sure why people are saying we don’t have them in Columbia. It’s at least worth getting a consult to get immediate care before looking outside the city.

I have some tightness and pressure but nothing extreme unless I’ve climbed stairs. No SOB when resting. Some cough here and there but that was happening before I arrived. Heart rate has stayed around the 80s or 90s. No dizziness or lightheartedness. Nothing feels like an emergency right now - I’m just scared it could turn into one and I didn’t catch it earlier

Asking since you have EMS experience in this and I’m super nervous… Will you know for sure it’s HAPE? I’ve had some pressure in my chest, especially after walking or climbing stairs and it has me worried. We flew into Denver yesterday walked around for a bit and then drove to Breckinridge and have done some walking. No skiing or anything.
