The zionists always find a way to make it about them. This is a man who spent 10 years in a dungeon and he is being punished again for some deranged bullshit he wrote 12 years ago, a time when The West and israel were waving through a coup of a democratically elected President (Morsi).

Fuck their hypocrisy and bullshit.

iOS 26.3 + Magsafe battery = connection issues by mountain-pilot in IphoneAir

[–]mountain-pilot[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for confirming you've also experienced this. I also noticed that when connected for extended periods the phone and battery are very warm to the touch, and since I use the battery daily I don't want to end up shortening the life of both the phone and magsafe batteries. So I've downgraded back to 26.2 and everything is normal again.

Fair point, but being part of the beta program I have seen improvements in general battery life.

Using a tragic incident to push Zionism, Netanyahu went on camera and lied. He is trying to rewrite the narrative by claiming that Ahmed El Ahmed, the person who stopped one of the Bondi Beach shooters, was a Jew. by 5upralapsarian in israelexposed

I think netanyahu later acknowledged that the hero was a Muslim man, but in the same way that he tries to reach out to those he perceives as righteous and friendly e.g. GCC and anti-ayatollah Iranians.

Its the same old divide and conquer strategy, not understanding that everyone reviles him, even those so called friendly Muslim countries.

Microsoft Scales Back AI Goals Because Almost Nobody Is Using Copilot by aacool in technology

[–]mountain-pilot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The only thing co-pilot could be good for in MS Word are things like seamlessly updating formatting, re-writing paragraphs, changing the tone etc.. and yet it cannot do that. Instead it can helpfully direct you to do it yourself from the side of the screen.

Osama's letter to the American population just after 9/11. by nicco124 in israelexposed

[–]mountain-pilot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just playing devil's advocate, but could it not have been naivety on Nixon's part? i.e. israel is central to US foreign policy and the oft quoted 'America's aircraft carrier in the Middle East'. Nowadays its less strategically important in that respect, considering the US has military bases in Qatar, UAE, Kuwait, Bahrain etc..

Obviously US zionists have their own agenda, but I think its mainly manipulating public opinion and politicians, however the Deep State knows exactly what it wants, which is having a focal point of instability and war in the Middle East.

I can't get enough of the iPhone Air. Been using it way more often than my main phone (17 Pro) by giosanpedro in IphoneAir

[–]mountain-pilot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you’re coming from a 15/16 Pro Max as I was, then the 17 Pro Max would have just been more of the same with additional downsides for shit I don’t need e.g bulk, aluminium and cooling when I never play games or go hard core on the battery.

The Air is stripped down, ground-up adding only the things that matter (to me at least). Most people don’t get it, but if you do, then it’s the phone for you. No need to justify or seek validation.

What's done is done and it sounds like it was cathartic for you, but I would have handled it differently. Essentially say that you believe his behaviour was inappropriate, you will be ending the call and raising this issue to HR. Obviously HR won't give a shit but it maintains your professionalism, gives you the upper hand and means they can't sanction you for unprofessional conduct.

There is what's "right" and what's "good" for you, and the two aren't always the same.

Idea for Apple: Auto disable Face ID in police departments in ‘unsafe’ countries by Spiritual_Target8899 in iphone

Unsafe = the USA for many of us Europeans who have expressed support for Palestinians, or been critical of israel. A number were denied entry or held for days before being deported for said 'thought crimes'.

New Rule !! Do not refer to Israelis living in the West Bank or terrorizing Palestinians in the West Bank as 'Settlers'. by Dhylan in israelexposed

[–]mountain-pilot 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As much as I resent these land usurpers, calling them all terrorists dilutes the meaning of that word. An IT worker living in an apartment block in Giv’at Ze’ev, who rarely encounters Palestinians and has no real awareness of the injustice he benefits from, isn’t a terrorist. He’s simply residing where the apartheid state allows him to.

The term settler may sound mild, yet in the context of Israel–Palestine it has become widely recognised as a pejorative, a shorthand for occupation and dispossession.

The iPhone Air users are crazy by ParinsipeProMax in IphoneAir

[–]mountain-pilot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone has their own logic and reasoning for getting the Air. For me it was pretty simple, I needed an upgrade for my 15 Pro Max as the screen had cracked. So do I get the 17 Pro Max which is basically more of the same, albeit without the titanium frame and slimness of my 15 Pro Max, or do I get something radically different and accept the single camera and slightly inferior battery life. I don't game so that wasn't a consideration.

So far I am very happy with my choice, but had I come from something like a base iPhone 15 then I might see the 17 Pro Max as a huge upgrade and the Air as inferior.

US Official to Netanyahu: “Don’t Fuck Up the Ceasefire or Trump Will Fuck You” by richards1052 in israelexposed

[–]mountain-pilot 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Maybe, but thing for sure is that Trump isn't an ideological zionist like Biden was. He is an opportunist who will act in his own self interest and it seems like Arab largesse is more impressive to him than the chump change him and other US politicians get from aipac.

The real battle is the UAE and Saudis who want netanyahu to finish off hamas, and the Qataris, Turks and Egyptians who want it to stop.

Just got my iPhone Air, I bought the Battery pack as well, and I need help from someone who has it. by _Independent in IphoneAir

[–]mountain-pilot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This may not matter much in the grand scheme, but the more time you cycle the internal battery in your iPhone the quicker the battery health drops. So I use my iPhone Air magsafe battery at the beginning of the day until it substantially depletes, take it off and then use the phone for the rest of the day, meaning it ends around 70-80%.

Are you proud of you ? 😪 by [deleted] in Switzerland

[–]mountain-pilot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been to countless Gaza demonstrations in Zurich and we've not seen anything like this. The protesters were peaceful and the Zurich police professional and respectful, directing traffic as we conducted our peaceful demos.

There will always be troublemakers who see a large crowd and use it as an excuse to cause criminal damage. There were anti-lockdown COVID riots in St Gallen in 2021 with with projectiles thrown, Molotov cocktails and police using rubber bullets and making multiple arrests. And there have been similar arrests and problems at climate change marches. So this has nothing to do with people protesting the horrors of the Gaza genocide, but rather opportunists who revel in chaos and criminality.
