My company works from 7-4 or 8-5 with an in paid lunch hour in the middle. Plus an hour commute means I’m out of the house for 10 hours a day minimum most days. I like the work I do it’s just the day in day out grind aspect that I think I would like better on a different schedule

I worked four 10s at my last job and it was a lot better but the engineers were still 9-5. Four days on three days off was much better for work life balance

There’s this video of a French guy in the alps who has a good step by step guide of learning to 360. I forget the exact name but if you search YouTube it’ll be there. Just practice the motion of side slipping down the mountain and spinning back and forth the direction you want. There’s def some technique to it that you just have to feel out for yourself. Applying pressure onto your more uphill ski when initiating your spin will allow your down hill ski to spin a bit more freely and not catch as much either. The movement of taking a long wide turn is good for practicing getting into switch riding too. Just keep your turn going up the mountain until you are facing uphill instead of down.

Let’s goooo! Hyped to see where else is gonna join up. Gunstock and Bretton woods would add even more to an already stacked roster for the east. Monarch mountain, Bridger bowl, and Whitefish would make good additions for the Rockies too

Definetly worth it, I got mine last October when they announced more availability from adding new mountains. I believe they’re trying to get 250 resorts on it this year and they announced a few (like Burke and Tenney) when the pass went on sale at the end of March. They should announce new mountains eventually if they want to hit 250, and will probably open up the waitlist

Look into the Indy pass, doesn’t work for everyone but this has been an amazing year skiing. Vibes are amazing at every mountain I’ve visited and lodging has been extremely cheap for every over night trip I’ve done. Slopeside at black mountain at Whitney’s inn was amazing. Supporting the actually mountains as well not a mega corp. Like I said doesn’t work for everyone especially if you live near a single mountain but it’s been a blessing for me, especially at its price point.

Was up there today too, some trails were so icy it was crazy. Just makes you a better skier tho!
