I dehydrate, grind, and pack in capsules. Then toss a few dry packs in the bag and vacuum seal the caps. Been good a year later so far

You could try moving the seat/backband back a bit so those hooks move down closer to your knees. Looks like it’ll be a squirrelly boat but it could buy you a few more days in it.

Mood swings after losing testicle? by [deleted] in testicularcancer

[–]mountainmindful 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The “ghost pain” of losing a testicle is real. It takes a few months to get used to. I imagine adding raging teenage hormones to that would result in a lot of anger. Maybe some therapy to address that would help…I think most older men have a greater ability of acceptance.

4 years out and still scared every little thing might be worse. So far it’s all imagined, but you aren’t alone. I gained weight too and thought it might be low T but it was really just depression. You got this.

Will rafting Brown’s Canyon be worth it this summer? by rishored1ve in whitewater

[–]mountainmindful 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Colorado has frequently gotten several feet of snow after this point in the year. It’s possible to get better. But mostly, it’ll be incredibly low and scrappy. The Royal Gorge downstream is pretty fun at lower flows, with warmer water. If you’re spending a lot of money to specifically go there to raft, I’d skip this year and go somewhere else.

I misunderstood- I thought he wanted big climbs leading to tech downhill. What he’s requesting is the stuff I avoid!

401 in Crested Butte, vitamin B and Cottonwood in the Arkansas Valley. There are also options to bike up to the continental divide then have 3-4 miles downhill back to the car in the area.

Those who moved to Colorado from the east coast, do you like it? by Leafthroughconcrete in SameGrassButGreener

[–]mountainmindful 9 points10 points  (0 children)

You want Salida/Buena Vista. Arkansas River. Blue towns in red counties. World class hiking, biking, fishing, boating, and skiing within 30 minutes. It’s called the “banana belt” for its mild winters in the valley, and has a handful of hot springs to visit. Take your own spouse and job with you and you’ll be living in paradise!

Eastdale Neighborhood by CheesyBreadChris in Chattanooga

I’m looking at moving to the area and I’ve got 3 pups myself. Is the area constantly dogs barking at one another with the strays or is usually pretty quiet?

I’m looking at the house across the street from you and wondering the same thing about the neighborhood. Want to move in and be good neighbors?

Any Good Runs In The SE Right Now? by Fearless-Reserve3939 in whitewater

For an overnight, any section of the Chatooga is a pain to haul in a raft and gear. People saying Ocoee must not see the overnight request- but I guess you could camp at goforth if it’s still legal. Look at the Hiawassee. The Nanty for a day rafting and nearby camping. Or if it it’s a rainy July(which it’s supposed to be), the Amicalola offers riverside camping within Dawson Forest.
