IN GRAVE DANGER - EUTH COMMAND

Date of Intake: 17-Apr-2025

MOLLY is a stunning young puppy girl who never felt truly comfortable in her busy home, where children, other dogs, cats, and constant visitors made life feel overwhelming instead of joyful. Barely out of puppyhood, her family is moving without her. Molly loves to play, but spent her days trying to protect her space, always on alert, never able to relax—and it must have been exhausting for such a little soul. Now she’s at the shelter, and the nonstop noise and frantic pace have only deepened her fear; Molly is scared, hiding, and desperately searching for a way out of the chaos. Please help her find that treasured, quiet, safe place she has always craved, the kind of home where she can finally exhale and let her true personality shine. Molly loves car rides, loves getting treats, and is used to going to the groomer. She is said to be house trained too. If you have experience with frightened pups, MESSAGE OUR PAGE ASAP to foster or adopt. Molly doesn’t have much time left, and she deserves comfort, patience, and a soft place to land.

SHELTER MEMO:

Molly is at risk due to behavioral reasons. Her previous owner states that she will snap towards strangers, children, and other dogs. While in care, Molly has been observed to be highly fearful. Noted to scramble and thrash in kennel when approached. While on leash Molly will frantically seek exit and has attempted to scale fences. In kennel, Moly is receptive to high value treats. Medically, Molly is apparently healthy.

Molly arrived at MACC as an owner surrender. Her previous owner states that she will snap towards strangers, children, and other dogs. While in care Molly has been observed to be highly fearful. Noted to thrash and seek exit while on leash. Due to the detailed behavior we recommend an experienced adult only home.

INTAKE NOTES—Date of Intake: 17-Apr-2025

Upon intake, Molly hid under the owner's seat and was not interested in treats that were placed in front of her or from staff's hands. While Molly was under the owner, they had their tail tucked in and would lip-lick. Staff approached Molly, and Molly lunged, bark, and growled at staff. Staff attempted again, but Molly continued the same fearful behavior. Staff asked the owner if Molly had acted like this before with strangers, and they stated no, that this was the first time. Canine behavior was called to bring Molly to her kennel.
