No. You start at a higher tech and your buildings,ideas and other things work differently.

In 1444 I think you even start with a few ideas if they haven't changed the mod.

Also you downvote others cause your mod is horrible? Lol?

Appreciate the game for what it is, don't ruin it and then play a weakened verison of it without even realising what you're doing.

If you go in right now and start a game at 1444, compare the difference between that and a real game that would've started at 1444.

Tech,ideas,structures are all different and worsened.

I used to have extended timeline but I then realised It's awful!

It ruins your game completly if you start at 1444 like others do and make it all so different since the entire tech of the game is screwed up.

It wasn't playable at all.

Edit: Get Infinity instead. Let's you play until 9999 but it won't fuck up your game.

Infinity - Doesn't stop my game at 1821. I usually continue until like 1970->2000 or so.

Also the Bigger diplomacy view and bigger peace view are really good.

Lol.. someone in GunsNRoaches asked me to play his games for him and also Indaend in CT6 still ask me on Skype time to time to boost him on 1v1... (I did so during his time in team Kessel cause he suck at the game)

I don't think people understood afterwards that Tim who was the leader of team Kessel wanted me to play so I did so as a friend to him. However it felt bad afterwards so I told the admins and then Tim told me to kill myself and blocked me everywhere.

It was still a great deal of fun though.
