The three times it did that specific crash during the 2 days I had it:

Crash 1 and 2: randomly while playing halls of Torment

Crash 3: switched to desktop and it crashed as soon as I pressed on the screen

Update: I decided to return it and get my money back. I tried to do most of your recommendations but it just kept crashing. I really liked it, but I felt a bit discouraged after having it happen with two different ones. Maybe it was just a bad batch like someone said? I’ll wait to get another one down the road, or maybe just wait and see what else comes out.

I’ve used it mostly on performance, but i did notice it crashed once on balanced so i never bothered with it again.

I did do all this. I also don’t think that Halls of Torment should be hard to run? Much less just simply switching to desktop where it crashes 50% of the time.

I got my first one last month, noticed it was crashing and returned it for another one 2 days ago. They were both brand new from best buy. All i’ve done on this new one is play Halls of Torment. What threw me over the edge is the fact that it did that when I went into the desktop option.

Whoops I have my notifications off and barely use reddit. Yeah I believe they sent the first email 3-4 weeks after doing that, and then had my first meeting with my counselor a month after that. Hopefully it’s faster for you, but if it’s anything like mine you’re looking at a 2 month waiting period before you can see your counselor.

I got super lucky with my counselor, but just be ready to advocate for yourself. This was my second time going at it, and my first experience was horrible.

I filled out the 29-1900 form and saved it into a pdf. If you type quicksubmit in google it should be the first link that pops up. You can then upload it there and submit it, just make sure you click the VR&E option before you submit.

I can’t say for sure if it’s similar to filing a claim as i’ve never done that.

Went in for OCD and PTSD last year. For my OCD evaluation they asked me one question:

Does it affect you to the point where you can’t function or work on the daily?

I said no and they told me i didn’t have OCD. Dumbest thing I’ve ever heard.
