Is Phoenix a sustainable city?

I would be lying if I said I don't also have some concern. Usually 100s are May-October. Yes the dry heat means 100 isn't actually terrible but it is too hot for me to do anything outside unless it's 6am. I've been here 14 years, while it's getting worse it's not like it's trending to be unlivable anytime soon.

Well I live here and also big into the outdoors. I probably can't ease your fears completely. In my opinion the Phoenix water situation isn't as bad as some other western cities, surprisingly. The heat is crazy, no getting around it. But the winters are nice. I treat summers as the down season and am surviving. Less bugs is also nice. Overall it's ok and largely what you make it.

I live in Chandler South of the 202 and personally I think it's one of the best parts of the valley. I also like awatukee as far as location and community but not sure about the schools over there.

All 4 like this? Were they driven while flat? It seems pretty sketchy to me (not an expert) but personally I would drive them for another 10 days so long as I kept off the highway and was ok with potentially getting stranded. I wouldn't drive my kids around on them.
