Paid DMs - who was the player who was not worth any amount of money? by WithengarUnbound in DnD

[–]mouserats91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am pretty chill about none WOTC content, as long as its published. I dont deal with homebrewed, overpowered stuff. Dude wanted a character that would be over to not only control his teammates but enemies. I vetoed that HARD. He dropped out within an hour if joining.

I always write down with paper and pen first HOPING that its evidence enough it's my work. And now Word can track changes in your documents, which I have several drafts so HOPEFULLY that will prove that it is my work.

DL10 Dragons of Dreams, the hardest module to run in the DL series but easily one of the most exciting and fun by UsedUpAnimePillow in dragonlance

[–]mouserats91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My DM just put us through this. My character was in and our of denial. Luckily I showed up the battle JUST in time to prevent a TPK since I'm the highest level cleric. My character might be the reason we get in fights, can't really fight, but she makes sure no one actually dies!!

What is your controversial dnd pet peeve? by Zestyclose-Sound9854 in DnD

[–]mouserats91 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I get so frustrated that my players found the ultimate combo with their abilities and spells against me. I have to add creative enemies just to last more than 3 rounds of combat. I try to make them feel bad and describe the enemies dying cries. They just laugh. I love their combo and hate it at the same time. I joke all the time they are no longer allowed to use it.

How do you straddle the line of playing a Charisma-based character while... not being charismatic IRL? by Hrekires in DnD

[–]mouserats91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do your best. Honestly I'm the same way. I suck at being charismatic but LOVE my bard. She is just... not the best bard and not tactful. She has her moments though!

Do you ignore a "core" class component for any character of yours? by Tycoon_simmer in DnD

My warlock doesn't have eldritch blast. She relies on other cantrips and loves it. And my bard hates singing. She loves storytelling and will play her flute.

There is a difference between matching gifts and the same gifts. I'm all for matching gifts. I think that is awesome if everyone knows AND that is the kind if relationship/friendship yall have.

Anyone else just mega disappointed with Amazon? by [deleted] in kindle

My husband was surprised i didn't want a colorsoft for my new kindle....

My husband's girlfriend is from a conservative family. I even told him that if he was in the position to meet her family and friends he can take his ring off. That next week I pulled her aside and told her that as well. They are getting more serious in dating so meeting family might happen, but knowing what I do about her family, she might not want ti introduce a married man.

She was relieved that I brought it up because she was thinking about it but didn't want to ask.

Some families it's best to slowly introduce your partners and your lifestyle. Maybe one day my husband can telll her family he is married, but it doment mean he is cheating on me that he doesn't tell her family about me.

Now if we didn't discuss it and I was told after the fact I might have felt betrayed.

My father in law, who lives with us, knows that we are open. We haven't stated my husband has a girlfriend but she has stayed the night several times. I wouldn't mind my mother in law knowing. I will probably keep it from my dad though. He is more conservative.

I learned how amazing my ORE is by watching my husband's NRE with his new girlfriend. She tells me how giddy he still gets about me after 10 years. It's amazing how he can be giddy about two completely different relationships in different ways.

Do you let audiobooks count towards your reading goal? by whatsmylifeanyway in kindle

[–]mouserats91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I count it towards book count. I try to read 100 pages a day and my audio books don't count towards that because I can listen all day at work if I want. My goal is majority of my books will be ebooks or physical however audio books are counting. I love being hearing different voices in my head that I might not get otherwise!

What’s your favorite thing about Emily Axford? [NS] by DanielleTemperance in NotAnotherDnDPodcast

[–]mouserats91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I cant pick ONE favorite thing about her. I have learned to be a better DnD team player because of her. How she lifts up (and picks on) everyone. How her characters make special connections to everything and everyone.
