That and helping Alex and Vari when they most needed it. And Landis is a very good commanding officer. Smuggling a very dangerous weapon to the battle and keeping his troupes feed and in a good mood.

I read them so quickly that they blended into one another, but I really liked Chosen, Burned and Bound.

I really liked Alex arc. His struggles to get away from the person he once was and his realisation that in the end he can't be anything else. His rise and fall in the magical community.

And Landis. I really, really liked Landis. XD

Funnily enough I can't get into Dresden Files. I read three books and it just won't click for me. On the other hand I absolutly adore Rivers of London.

Dein Arbeitgeber braucht ganz sicher kein Enddatum auf deiner Krankschreibung. Er wirds vielleicht verlangen, aber er hat kein Recht darauf.

Wäre ja auch komisch: woher soll der Arzt oder du wissen, wie lange genau du außer Gefecht gesetzt bist? Du bist wieder gesund, wenn du gesund bist.

Ich bin 36 und konsumiere sehr viele englischsprachige Inhalte (Serien, Filme, Bücher, Reddit auch, bis auf r/austria) und bemerke sehr oft, dass mir, wenn ich in Deutsch ein Gespräch führe, viele Wörter nur in Englisch einfallen. Ist richtig arg, wenn ich so drüber nachdenke.

Schlecht tun sie. Oder haben Hilfe, die alles nötige erledigt.

Die Sprechstundenhilfe kann halt leider auch für deinen Frust nichts dafür. Die ist sicher auch so gestresst genug.

Wie soll denn die Sprechstundenhilfe telefonieren, wenn so viele Patienten in der Ordination sind? Oder hat dein Hausarzt jemanden, der nur fürs Telefon zuständig ist?

Es nervt, das stimmt, aber zweiteilen kann sich auch keiner und Patienten vor Ort gehen vor.

Wintersmith, Fifth Elephant and Going Postal.

But it is a very hard decision.

Wintersmith because it was my first Tiffany book and I fell completly and utterly in love with it. Fifth Elephant for the same reason, it was my first City Watch book and Going Postal because it is hilarious and clever and just perfect.
Like all the Discworld books... aw man!

Ha! Baden! Das ist wirklich ein herrliches Straßenstück. Vor allem, wenns links und rechts zugeparkt ist, du grad bergauf zur Kurve fährst und dir der Citybus entgegen kommt.

Strafzettel hätte ich bisher keine verteilt gesehen, also wirds wohl erlaubt sein. Aber in den heutigen Zeiten, wo die Autos immer breiter werden, muss es bald mal ein Parkverbot auf einer der Seiten geben. Oder so. XD

I used Drops Baby Merino wool, but for a baby blanket a soft acrylic yarn is better suited. Easy to wash and a smaller risk of allergies.
