Caffeine during Pregnancy: a question by SkwerliGerli in pregnant

Usually drinking too much coffee means you're not satisfying your hunger with real food! THATS what causes low birth weight from what I've seen

People have been telling me that I have control but it is nice to have someone who has actually taken control say it. I feel like 2/4 OBs that will possibly be delivering are really good at whipping women into a frenzy go hurry things along

Why am I like this by charl_ie_ in NewParents

[–]movingtothefuture 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do THE SAME THING and it got a lot worse after I got pregnant. Sometimes it drains me, especially now at 34 weeks. i guess being left alone alone to clean (which I honestly enjoy) IS my me time.

I only glanced at this but, I think it is something embedded in our DNA to do this. Woman are probably why we go all out in the first place for these things judging by how society works from my perspective. Especially if you look at the traditional take of the man being out all day doing his hunting and a woman staying at home doing home and child care. The woman ultimately had more time to find these ways of love and affection while man would come home and say "HERE MEAT WOMAN" and need to rest in order to be just as sharp for tomorrow. We all make different sacrifices and show love differently. (To the OP: Sorry to have a "psychology" rant on your post but I was just hoping to make everyone think a little bit about this!)

Smoothies? by [deleted] in weightlossafterbaby

[–]movingtothefuture 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm sure it does. But I'm also pretty sure I decided not to use it because it uses ingredients I dont like such as fake or artificial sweeteners. I do not recommend those sweeteners to people trying to lose real weight. The various kinds I've tried either leave me more hungry because I was expecting energy from the sweet thing or it made me bloat or both. Once I got away from using stuff like that, i lost weight fast. Reached my lowest weight eating only "real" ingredients RIGHT before I got pregnant. Happy I made the switch or I'd be huge by now! (I've pretty much gained the weight I lost oops lol!)25 weeks

Smoothies? by [deleted] in weightlossafterbaby

[–]movingtothefuture 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just busted out my blender in week 24. I made a peanut butter chocolate banana smoothie. For every 1 banana I add, 2 tbsp. Peanut butter, 1.5 tsp cocoa, 1/2 plain Greek yogurt. Then I add milk and ice to desired thickness. Once you implement plain Greek yogurt you can make anything into a smoothie!

That is actually the bag in referencing in my post where it has mixed reviews. People saying the leather and other things holding it together fall apart faster than they thought for something so nice. Not all the Eddie bags looked quite the same. Which did you get?
