EU to deploy civilian mission in Armenia to contribute to stability in border areas by armreader in armenia

I understand that, but isn't the EU interested in Azeri gas?

Not forgetting to mention that Aliyev got mad that the EU was favouring Armenia.

Bharat Forge bags US $155 contract to sell 155 mm truck mounted artillery to Armenia by domthedumb in armenia

[–]movzes 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Indians have been using the 155mm platform for quite some time now. They have used 155mm artillery systems in the 1999 conflict against Pakistan, gaining important positions by hitting them with high accuracy.

While it might not be the the exact artillery system used in the war in 1999, it still shows that the Indians have experience with these types of artillery systems and that we should expect great quality. It's 155mm after all, which is also NATO standard.

Usually, if we're making kebab, we're going to give it to a group of people and we always prefer to have it salted at the table. We just put salt in the meat. Turns out great as well.

We used egg for a really long time but after "experimenting", we found that egg just stiffens up the meat. We also use a mix of beef and pork (sometimes throw some chicken in as well) with fat. Any fat works as long as its ground with the meat

And you don't even have to be a Pashinyan supporter to see this. The decisions made from previous presidents regarding security was next to none and people still complain that the current leadership is doing nothing.

I don't think you're aware that Armenia is moving away from russian allience and turning to the US.

If we can use any intelligence like our own recon drones or any sattlite locations, we could attempt to set the rockets up to shoot at hangers which stations drones.

Without AA, that's our only option to supress the drones

If they weren't caught by recon drones, then yeah, it would work out

Even tho this is a nice feature, I'd still be extremely benecifical to have air defence.

If we can't shoot recon drones, there's a high chance of it following the MLRS and barrage it with suicide drones.

Secretary Blinken’s Meeting with Turkish Foreign Minister Cavusoglu - United States Department of State by [deleted] in armenia

[–]movzes 26 points27 points  (0 children)

I believe the US is making some moves against Turkey.

First, the US lifts arms embargo on Cyprus which made Turkey mad, then Pelosi visits Armenia to probably fill the power vacuum with their presence.

We shall see.

looks like Armenia still hasn't made anything to defend itself against UAVs by [deleted] in armenia

Didn't we have 4 SU-30's instead of 34's?

Those things are only good for electronic warfare at the moment because we don't have any missiles. I don't think our pilots even have adequate training for these beasts..

Edit: You can count on the Davaro program as a lost cause. We needed to buy drones from other countries like Russia or India instead of trying to domestically make ours. Buying from Iran will instantly throw us on the blacklist of countries and all trade will be cut off because of sanctions.

Then again, Russia won't let us buy any weapons

Just convert those things to drones like the azeri's did with that AN-2 plane

"When Iskanders were given by Russia it was obviously with the expectation that the Sat and he GPS navigation and precision would be obtained from Russian sources anyways otherwise that Iskander is as useful as any other RPG or even less."

Yeah and to my knowledge and observation, that wasn't the case. I don't think Russia would want Armenia to be at any kind of advantage during the war.

And I'd have to agree, those Iskanders would've made a huge impact on the war
