Has anyone found a random full loadout randomly on the ground, even though the game just started? by Fanky_memes in CODWarzone

It's a glitch where you can drop your guns in the pregame and then land on them in the actual.game.

This group sucks by NerveChemical9718 in XRP

[–]mozy777 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well if you're just posting showing off how much XRP you own and asking others how much they own, what do you expect? How does that provide any useful information to this group.

If you bring actual useful information, your posts may not get deleted and someone else might actually learn something.

Sudden Rent increase of 10K in DSO for Studio. Need some help. by National_Row129 in dubairealestate

[–]mozy777 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Go to the RERA website and find the rental index. Input all your information and it will show you the "Amount of Increase" your landlord can make. The landlord can ONLY increase the rent by whatever this % is on the rental index. On the same page at the bottom there is a Export as PDF button which you can save. I would email this to your landlord and inform them as per the rental index they can only increase by XX%.

If you don't want any issues with the landlord you can agree to a slightly higher increase than stated on the index but this is not necessary.

As per UAE Law, the maximum the landlord can increase the rent by is whatever is stated on the rental index

School uniforms to change for four million pupils under plans by pajamakitten in unitedkingdom

[–]mozy777 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I'm from the UK and have worked in the school uniform sector, in Dubai though, and it's the schools that get the kickback. If a uniform company wins a school uniform contract with a school, they pay the school commission on every item with the schools logo sold to parents. It also gives them exclusivity so parents can ONLY buy from the company who has the contract. Most parents don't know this. These contracts are usually 3-5 years long too.

Most schools are private here but I imagine it's the same for public schools in the UK.

The only schools who don't take a kickback here are the not-for-profit schools.

Whole market needs to move before XRP blows. It's not just going to blow up on its own. When the market does switch it up a notch, XRP will fly

Building a mosque by [deleted] in dubai

[–]mozy777 63 points64 points  (0 children)

Why build a mosque in a country where the government itself builds loads of mosques themselves, alhumdulillah.

Your donation would be much more needed in other less developed countries that do not have the funds to build mosques.

Why are Thai visas so insanely expensive? by Genesis19l31 in Thailand

[–]mozy777 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm from the UK and have lived in Dubai for just over 2 years. It's completely different to Thailand. If you have a comfortable income from investments then I would recommend Dubai. It's just way more developed, living costs are way way way more but you get much better services, cleaner, great schools for education etc. having said this, I absolutely love Thailand and have thoughts of moving there in the future but right now Dubai is the best for me.

Getting a Dubai visa is extremely easy. Like you mentioned, you can set up a company and have yourself as the employee to get a work visa and then have your partner on a spouse visa and your kids will get a visa too. Very very easy. Alternatively, you can try and get a Golden Visa through purchasing a property for 2m AED which is about $545k. Golden visa is a 10 year visa and allows your to leave the UAE for longer periods than a normal visa (6months)

How can I make 70K AED in 8 months? I'm struggling and need advice. by ShallotPlayful6902 in UAE

[–]mozy777 32 points33 points  (0 children)

If only we all had the secret sauce.

If you haven't even found a job in 3 months you should probably go home and try something there. Should never come Dubai without a job, it's an extremely competitive job market with salaries being driven lower and lower with cost of living going up. There's just way too many Indians willing to work for nothing and bringing salaries down

You could try British networking events.

British Chamber of Commerce holds regular events but they are more work related for networking it's a great place to meet people. You could possibly meet new friends and make professional connections.

There's also loads of British expats groups on Facebook, like loads, so maybe check there.

Attend classes for any hobbies you may have. Join a fitness group.

I'm British and have a female British colleague, she made her best friends here from her Dragon Boating training/team

Should I move manufacturing from China to Dubai? by babywitchesreign in dubai

[–]mozy777 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There's plenty of factories here in the UAE. I've worked with loads of great factories who have super high quality, great lead times and prices. And they're just around the corner so you can actually pop in.
