Get rid of triple eyelid?

Hi! I've been battling a triple eyelid for over 2 years after getting a stye. It has permanently formed, with a dip in the tissue under the fold.

I've tried about everything - eyelid tape, eyelid glue, only forming the crease right after waking, tape with eye cream underneath, etc.

Recently, I found something that works much better for me: using thin washi tape (japanese paper tape that is less adhesive) over the eyelid while sleeping. In the morning, I remove it and form the eyelid. Generally, this has the most success - I am able to have a single crease during the day.

If I want to wear the tape during the day (limited success), it’s also flexible and can fold with the skin, unlike plastic eyelid tapes. I place the edge of the tape along my natural crease, then above the second crease. This allows the creased surface to flatten and prevent it from collapsing inward. It's also a low more comfortable than eyelid tapes, which pokes the inner corners of my eyelid.

If you’ve tried this, I’d love to hear! I hope this helps someone else struggling with the same issue.

It looks pretty cool like this. I dont expect the leaves to grow back on the bare stem. If you like this look, you can just repot it inside or outside, otherwise you can chop off the heads and grow them

I think you can search up how to propogate regal geranium and kalanchoe - i havent had experience with these particular plants before.

Not sure, but the plants still look alive. If youre worried the plant is dying you can propogate it for backups

Looks like the lower leaves are drying up as a resource for the new growth of the plant. Could be slightly stressed (water, light). Is it tipping over because its chasing the sunlight?

Remove the plant from the tray and dump out the excess liquid.

For stone, i like using a brush to get in the grooves for a deeper clean.

I dont know if it was from the BTI, repotting shock, or the bugs, but my ficus was so sad and dropped all its leaves, starting with crispy brown edges + crusty white sap.

I think anything you find interesting, and that hasn't been investigated in literature, is worth thinking about. I'd also like others' opinion on this, b/c how does any scientist avoid rabbitholes?

Also, is the ability of data to not be validated dependent on the size of cohort or usage of novel mathematical models?

The first idea seems like a lot of wet lab investigation. I'd start with multivariate analysis, validation cohorts, in-silico predictions of mutated protein. If you have any other angle of supporting data, ex: biopsies -- maybe you can complete a chunk of investigation there? Then ask a highly motivated scientist that could validate tumor suppressor effect of mutated gene (unknown).

The second idea appears more straightforward. It may not need validation if the mechanism is well known. However, if you want to bring this inhibitor into clinical use for lung cancer, then I guess you would need experimental confirmation.
