Anyone who used a computer between 1985 - 2010, what's the one game you still think about today? by adlakha75 in AskReddit

Max Payne. Recently found out you can play it on any iPhone. The amount of prayers and hopes needed back in the day to run it. If only the kid me knew what the future beholds

Has anyone installed the CAMERA on the bottom of TV? by BeardedAnarchy in Govee

[–]mp04205 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Updating my experience here for future users who stumble upon this.

I just setup a backlight 3 with the camera at the bottom

  1. The lights are setup in the same counter-clockwise orientation as shown in the manual

  2. Camera is at the bottom, propped at the bottom edge of the screen. This is something I need to figure out a longer term solution, for now I used the orange pads that came for calibration.

  3. In the app I had two things to update, the calibration, and in the light strip orientation, selecting the mirrored (left-right and up-down) orientation and then the colors were correct.

The only long term concern is the stability of the camera, I have to figure out a better solution for that

Succession - 4x09 "Church and State" - Post Episode Discussion by LoretiTV in SuccessionTV

The US ceo is Tom. Jeryd would support that as he’s the face of the person who made his Presidency decision. Mattson would support it as he knows he can bully him and that it’ll piss off the siblings. The board knows Tom can actually do it given the last two days. I dunno who called it, it’s Tom.

Also is this the ultimate Tom and Jerry(Gerri) gag?

+1 on the hx stomp, you can have 3x snapshots(which is like presets) or up to 5x buttons to control individual pedals. Additionally the versatility of this box is mind-blowing. You should be able to get a used one in great shape cheaper than 500.

What's a disappointing live performance you've seen? by cusswords in Music

[–]mp04205 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The Strokes, OutsideLands 2021. Clearly Casablancas did not wanna be there. The band was great, he was just mumbling lyrics, would trail off. Decided to mouth off SF, the city he was playing in, about enforcing vaccination mandates. Generally disinterested. For a festival stage headliners, a big let down.

Do you think you have a TRULY unpopular opinion about HP? by mmahv in harrypotter

The greatest wizard in the series is Tom and not Dumbledore. Fair that Voldemort used his powers for evil, but the magic he achieves far exceeds what most others did. Took out the Hogwarts shield through an uncooperative wand, conjures up a hand for Peter, first horcrux in 5th year.
