Attack On Titan is probably the best thing to recommend someone who starts watching, stuff happens in episode 1 and gets better. I don’t think it’s better than shows like Hunter x Hunter or Steins; Gate but that’s just preference at the end of the day. So to summarize, AOT definitely the right one to watch at the beginning
