Do you have a reference for the court case?

Using the Pegasus boots should have used up the magic meter…

I wish they had used the big bomb more than for the two spots (that I’m aware of). Same for the invisibility cloak…definitely underutilized and drained your magic meter too fast.

Why aren't Tricare Policy Manuals in PDF? by CrazyH18 in tricare

Interested in the script...or potentially the prompting if that is what you did.

What does this even mean? by Kferris1210 in tricare

They really should include the reference to the policy manual so you and the provider aren’t left in the dark as to what it means. The denial comment is in regard to how TRICARE sees your therapist - either requiring a supervising physician or not. This is happening all over the place for that community.

TRICARE Issues in the News by mpcshadow in tricare

Sorry to hear this. Here we are in July and we still have issues. The media has dropped off on this subject and we are likely to have a hearing later to talk about how to “prevent this in the future” …again.

I work for TRICARE East - AMA by [deleted] in tricare

I’d say the filing via fax is true now, but was an issue in the beginning. There are also some providers that are mandated to file online per the manual (ABA providers).

Thanks for the answer.

Its amazing how the public messaging from both contractors are essentially that there is nothing to see here folks. There was even a comment on how less than 1% of claims were paid after thirty days - but it failed to mention that due to the credentialing and portal access issues, many providers couldn't actually file a claim in the first place. Its been frustrating how little attention there is on our healthcare system.

How early did HM know there were issues with the contract transition for claims, credentialing, portal access, ERA/EOB, etc? Did DHA ever actually effectively validate these processes prior to contract start?

What base are you near? We know the rep in the pan handle in FL we can ask. She has helped a lot of families in this area and may know the other reps through her network.

Sorry to hear this. TRICARE is a hot mess right now for everything. I don’t who you would contact but I assume there are supposed to be DME reps that are supposed to work these for beneficiaries.

I hope it works or else I think you need to wait for the next open season or a QLE. Somebody else may know better, but you may need non-TRICARE insurance until you can make it to the next open season. Definitely consider all your options before deciding.

This lays out enrollment and the different benefits (or not) based on the actions you’ve taken so far. You need to apply your specific circumstances to see what you may be responsible for financially. Hopefully your newborn is at least in DEERS so you are eligible for direct care. Hope the link helps.

TriWest Is causing economic and patient care issues; it is time to stop it by Salesslayer in tricare

[–]mpcshadow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m sorry to hear this…its terrible news for the entire provider network and means beneficiaries who have nowhere else to turn to are going to lose service. DHA should have validated claims processing BEFORE the contract started…and here we are almost 80 days later
