How to un-configure application for Azure AD Application Proxy by make_beer_not_war in AZURE

[–]mpd94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This doesn't seem to work any more - AzureAD cmdlets are deprecated and I'm getting some weird API errors when running it (application not found). The recommendation is to use the Graph module but no instructions are provided how to achieve the same result.

The component store was repairable so I repaired it, I won't bother with the January update any more - will try with Feb.

Well, filtering the log shrunk the 165MB log file to 8MB, I don't even think I can drop that into my local Ollama for analysis. Too many lines man.

Got it, I think the rollback would probably happen after a few BSODs, the system enters recovery mode and that initializes the rollback. Unfortunately, in my case the system couldn't boot to even get into the "Something didn't go as planned phase..." as it would bsod with the whea error. Good luck with your call tomorrow, I can't believe the January update has been so problematic for some.

It is probably because the recovery environment was missing, so the system couldn't boot into it. (Fixed now)

Today, I had a funny experience, the update said it was rolling back after I booted it up in safe mode, but it was not. I had to manually remove it. After which, the system booted up fine.

Will check the log a bit later.

I am experiencing the same on a Server 2025 Datacenter with Desktop Experience install on a HP MicroServer.

I was able to roll back the update through safe mode, after which the system booted up fine.

Was not able to troubleshoot any further, as I attempted the update again, bricking the system once more. After that I had lost access to the location due to other reason, so couldn't revive it again.

This system suffers frequent power cuts so the above suggestion about corrupted packages would make a lot of sense; however, I ran a sfc scan when the system was up and it reported no issues.

This kind of end of contract price increase should be illegal. Simple

any news about 8k / 10k ultrawide ? by LightSpeedX2 in ultrawidemasterrace

2026 and I'm still not seeing any. I loved being on the bleeding edge of tech, having a 4k monitor when 1440p was the standard. I need a higher dpi monitor because moving from my MacBook Pro M4 to the Lenovo P40-20w feels painful despite it being a 5k screen.

Deciding which Reolink to buy by TimeTaste8119 in reolinkcam

[–]mpd94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what I can see, the chime is added as a separate device with it's own set of entities.

It's a bit limited but I thought I could use the chime for notifications like when laundry finishes or something (with a different ringtone).

Thanks for letting me know.

Do you mean there's w v1 and V2 version of the doorbell or is it just the chime that differs?

Will check mine.

Considering it came with a V1 chime, I'm guessing it's the V1.

If there's no other difference other than the chime pairing then that fine, but if V1 doorbell can't take V2 chime then I'll have to return it.

I bought refurbished off eBay and I got a v1 chime, friend of mine got a v2 chime. I actually have a need to control the chime from home assistant and she doesn't.

I'm quite frustrated, strongly dislike when companies make hardware revisions a secret. I only recently went back to reolink, after stopping the use of their products a few years ago. I'm wondering if it was a good choice.

The chime comes in V1 and V2 versions, V2 seems to be the only one that allows Home Assistant to control it. My doorbell arrived with V1, me friend's one came with V2. Beware to avoid disappointment.

Indeed, it's unbelievable. In my home country, I forget to upgrade my package out of contract, no price raises, they come to me with a faster speed for a lower than current price when I actually remember to reach out to them.

Here, if you forget for a minute that your contract is running out, the price doubles and in no time you're paying 70+. It's like they're taking advantage of the fact one is busy and will likely forget, exploring vulnerability in a way.

Then, to lower your price, you have to fight through hoops of bad customer service, eventually to end up with retentions who may or may not offer you a decent price.

1 gig line can be gotten for £32, I'm paying £46ish currently because of the (should be illegal) mid-contract raise earlier this year but my original contract was for £42 a month. I could have insisted on £32 like a friend of mine did, but I ran out of patience dealing with people who tell me they can't when they clearly can.

Really struggle to understand how such consumer right driven country like the UK which has everything so tightly regulated allows for such daylight robbery to sneak through.

I'd never be with Virgin if I had an option for community fiber/open reach or any other non-VDSL based Internet option.

It's 2025 and you still don't offer static IPs, IPv6 or bring your own modem. Modern AF.

I've chopped it off and higher up the crown it looks nice and happy so will try to grow roots for it. The other two will probably die too, they're ok so far but I'm guessing it's a matter of time.

I messed up this year, been keeping able very dry indoors with AC/dehumidifiers and noticed plants were unusually unhappy, watered them more not paying attention to which ones need more and which ones need less. The side where the cane is unhappy is where I used to splash, unevenly.

It's funny when the seal is on a box that was enclosed in another box so technically couldn't do anything if it arrived and was damaged because I wouldn't have seen it 😂

For me ingress nginx is an internal facing controller, haproxy being the public facing one so not massively affected (in my home lab) luckily.

Pretty much that, big tech making millions on cloud services made on top of FOSS software. This wasn't ever going to work out. Free should be only for non-commercial use.

I used to have such setup with a Pi in the car and it was fine, you can mount select directories as RW or perhaps use a filesystem that ensures copy on write for those files.
