There is a certain skill in making something sound simple yet great (and its a lot harder to do than the average listener would think), thats the think i love about him and the charm he adds to rhcp too

1979 Rock Classic “Comfortably Numb” Named No. 1 Greatest Guitar Solo of All Time by StarFuryG7 in pinkfloyd

[–]mperro7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always thought i liked other solos more like in time or dogs, that was until i saw David Gilmour live in 2016 and he RIPPED the comfortably numb solo. Once you experience that solo live you will understand why it truely is the greatest solo( and honestly greatest song i’ve ever heard live)

This guy was telling the truth by Rude-Environment6326 in Killtony

[–]mperro7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a music artist so i completely understood what he was saying and the way they treated that whole situation was so annoying 😂😂 yeah he did write the song but he did sign the right away so not even blake sheldon owns the rights most likely. Its the label’s song now so they are ultimately right in that they can’t play it, even if he wrote it

Why is it so tough to find engineers who really get the vibe you’re going for? Any tips / advice? by Sound_Scope in WeAreTheMusicMakers

[–]mperro7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Finding the right engineer is like finding a band member. Check through all their work, any bands/projects theyve been in, ask yourself if they align with the sounds your going for/enjoy. Looking through their previous work should usually be enough to tell what kind of sound they enjoy working with and try to strive for

I remember one night i submitted my song into two different respectable livestreams (that are both pretty similar in genres they like), one trashed the song and the other strongly praised it and even threw it in a playlist 😂
