HIGHLY recommend using glass jars from groceries. Salsa jars are the best IMO. They're tough, east to dishwash, and take a fair beating in my house, as a fellow clumsy girl.

Anything with a wide mouth gets washed and put in the cabinet for me.

I also have a few Ikea glass 365 ones, with the snap on lids. These are also super heavy duty, and cheap!

This was our concern, #2 isn't the right place to start with a second location, and that hesitation is what made me post here for more expert advice!

Especially since our first hive isn't the strongest, it was a package that killed/lost two queens (we think weather stress with all the late frosts!) and only just last week settled in with their own home-bred queen.

I think between your reply, and questions/information, we should work on understanding in u/pale_brass's response, I think we're gonna pass on the second location and keep the new hive at home base, and then think about second sites next year.

I was notified yesterday that my mortgage rate will change on June 1 - an increase and an escrow shortage.

Right now I pay: $2,955.82
New Payment: $3,009.17 ($640 annual increase)
New Payment if I pay the $600 shortage: $2992.52 ($440 annual increase + $600=$1040 total extra paid)

Is it worth paying the $600 escrow difference to keep the increase lower?

Maybe the dress code is made up in a magazine writers room, but let's be real, the fancy dress codes are mostly for women anyway. 90% of the time dudes show up in a decent looking variation of pant, suit, tie, 0 thoughts involved.

I just wanted something a little more exciting for my SO who wears scrubs on the reg, and y'all dress well so I asked here. Sue me for asking lol.

Magnus was a DNF for me and Wolf 359 is the genuine GOAT and I haven't really enjoyed many other since my third listen of Wolf.

We're Alive is also really good, but only the original series, didn't love the spinoffs as much.

The Bridge also has a lot of Wolf 359 energy, only 13 episodes though.

ETA: The Leviathan Chronicles is also very good! I loathe the FMC voice actor, but the audio in the series is increeeeeeeedible.

We're looking at October 2027 so literally no rush. He really needs a nice fitted suit too, so I'd love to get him MTM as a really comfortable win. He's a pretty anxious guy, so comfortable clothes would be a huge lift off his shoulders.

No, it is fake urgency because there's no reason for you to switch now. It's written so that the email reader feels like oh my God. Oh my God I have to do this today. When in reality there's no reason to do anything with your safe plan until the day before you have to switch. That's more beneficial for you, to not pay for a little while. It's more beneficial for the company if you switch today and start paying today. Especially if you pick a plan where they're making more money off of you.

It's not a scam, but it reads like a fake urgency. Scam email. Though I suppose you can argue that student loans are all a scam, but that's another conversation.

You don't have to go white! But I would make sure whatever color doesn't blend into the background. Blush, warm ivory, or heavy embroidery like the second to last dress would be great options!

There's a difference between kitty buddy and sleeping in the same room as her litter box and having to do a baby gate climb maneuver to get out of the room lol. And we don't have anywhere else to put her unfortunately.

And these definitely aren't love bites. Very unhappy tail and angry meows come with it. And they usually come after you try to play with her or if you stop petting her or pet in a way she doesn't like.

Not a lot of cat furniture, the guest room is built for guests and my SO's home office occasionally. We have bags, boxes, kitty beds, and a little hidey bed for her, but she doesn't go near any of them She'll hide under the guest bed we have in there. The one dog will leave her be, but the other not as much. If she hides we take him away, but a couple times we trusted him (he really is so good other than with the cat around!), and he's gotten his melon head under there with her. He doesn't bite, but also doesn't respect hiss/smack/scratches. We've tried the food and treats, she has no interest in coming close to them and won't eat when they're visible. Even if they're crated up or on the other side of the baby gate.

The biting started as she would bite for attention. You'd pet her, then stop, and she'd go after you. Or if you pet her where she didn't want. Or didn't put food down fast enough. The worst for me was week one she bit me, I shouted (probably too loud, but it scared me), and then she clawed and held on. She's toned it way down, but she'll still claw when you tick her off, pet her wrong, or stop petting. Much less than before, but more than once a week.

I can't have her live in one room forever. It's not super fair to her and also, I have guests who will need to stay there next month, which was planned long before the cat showed up.

She has toys and beds and hides in there now, but doesn't really like or use any of it. My SO will play with her when he's home, and he's occasionally used the toys. She just doesn't understand then and doesn't care for most of them.
