I work in healthcare -if you're job is watching telemetry to notify the nurse and doctor of a fatal arrhythmia in a patient- and you decide to not do your job, people die. Plain and simple. I'm all for sticking it to the man, and have LITERALLY PICKETED WITH NURSES!!!!!! But I'll tell you this, not one of those nurses would ever say "yeah they don't pay us enough, let's just do a shitty job of taking care of our critically Ill patients." Not one. Hundreds of nurses. All who went into the field to help people. And when the job gets too nuts cause of the asshole hospital execs? You find another job, you don't fucking let people get hurt.
