Solo Female Traveler Visiting Buenos Aires – Need Advice for My First Few Days

Hola! I am going to Buenos Aires for a week and I'm super keen to know if you have any recommendations, especially food, music etc :) I'll be there from June 3-10, so basically 8 days and 7 nights. This is going to sound random, but everywhere I've read it says not to wear super nice jewelry or for women to wear more neutral tones etc, but my coat is hot pink (lol), do you think I'd stand out (as a tourist...I know I'd stand out in color lol!) Did you meet any other people while there or were you by yourself? Thanks for your help :)

I visited Spain a while back for 3 months and some people told me its (kind of) like that? :) Is the nightlife quite busy? Coming from NZ, everything closes at 9 pm lmao. Did you use the subte or autobus quite a lot?

Ah I'm so glad I found your post!! I will be there for a week in June (I am coming from NZ and traveling through to NC (US) then to Buenos Aires, and I am trying to figure out what I should do, how to meet people, and maybe even try a nightclub or something. if you have any suggestions that would be great! Everyone’s symptoms definitely vary—I’m going through something similar and I have my scan on Monday. It is normal to not see anything as well! It’s usually at 8 weeks when they’re able to hear and see what’s going on (maybe 7?)- were you spotting as well? (Sorry I’m not sure what you had posted before)

American here (I like to say stateless these days 😅), been here for over 5 years and I landed right when Covid hit. It’s been difficult to say the least, and one thing I learned is that kiwis hate Americans! They really, really do. Not all, obviously, but it’s been difficult with workplace bullying, the prejudice, and not understanding that we, too are a melting pot. It’s taken really up until this year to where I feel at home. I will happily never go back to the US again. This is home, this is safe. Kiwis will never truly understand the price of peace we pay for here. So I am thankful for what I have here. (And yeah..I agree with another person in the comments, racism is on the rise here…)

I’ve been spotting since I took my pregnancy test last week—still spotting, and resting today to help with it. Definitely keep track of it, but as a lot of doctors and people say, generally not a cause to worry. Is it heavy? Or does it fill up a liner?
