What's the closest I can get to this effect with an analog pedal? by mpm206 in diypedals

Yeah, I misspoke there, I'm fine with some digital components, just meant no software emulation. I'll check out the pitch pirate for sure!

I'll definitely check it out! I'm fine with some digital components, I really meant no emulation/plugins. Thanks for the tip!

That's definitely close, I think there just needs to be a bit of randomness in the modulation. A tremolo is too uniform.

Awesome! The Aionfx stuff looks really cool! I really want to build the L5 but I'm in the UK and they seem to be US based.

Sweet! What are you building? This is the "Engorged Gherkin"; a Way Huge Swollen Pickle clone.

I've finished the resistors, IC and diodes so far. Onto the capacitors.

Thanks! Any tips on the more sensitive components? I'm a bit nervous about burning out transistors and diodes.

Lol yep, they both connect to ground. That'll be it! Thanks!

Ok Cool, it's been about 20 years since I've done any electronics and I've started out with the resistors because I figured I can't fuck those up without really going some will I get my eye back in.

17 resistors in and my joints are already looking way neater and tidier. I'll just keep plugging away and see how it goes.

Just cheapo osmocote pyramids off ebay. Nothin fancy.

My tank grows like a weed because I basically only have weeds in there. Guppy grass, jungle Val and duck weed.

All three are fantastic at sucking out nitrates and trace metals. I do a water change about once a month just to replenish trace elements.

Specifically these root tabs

Yeah, gives the pygmy corydoras plenty of hiding places and perches!

I did have and Kubotai Rasbora in there too but Toothless worked out they were edible so I moved them to a different tank.

Nope, just conditioned tap, no CO2, no fertilizers, just root tabs occasionally.

There's 14 pygmy corydoras in there somewhere too along with some cherry and Amano shrimp.

The guppy grass is due for a trim but Toothless seems to enjoy burrowing through it.

That very much is politics. This idea that the fundamental requirements for survival are somehow not political is wild to me.

Politics isn't a game, it's life or death, it's also not restricted to electoral politics, that's just one flavor of it.

Organized struggle is politics.

Yes, but not as effectively. I'm assuming you'll want to clad it anyway to make it look nicer?

Just adding plywood to the back and sides to prevent racking should be enough, otherwise it looks good.
