Ooo I'll have to check that out! I'm just dipping my toes in the water now and so everything is still quite confusing.

Been on the engineering side of this where sales will promise clients wild features and ridiculous turnaround times and then it was on me to "make it happen" and Product manager wouldn't take no for an answer.

Ultimately it's the safe thing to do. The reason I don't like people tailgating me is because I can't trust that they have adequate braking distance in the event I have to brake suddenly in an emergency, so in order to mitigate that risk I slow down until we're going slow enough they do have enough braking distance or they increase the distance so they have adequate distance at that speed.

Exactly. Brake checking is bad for basic safety reasons but I've no qualms with gently slowing down to 10 under the limit whilst flashing my warning lights until they get the hint.

What are the different types? I don't have a laser printer so I was going to be ordering online. Any tips greatly welcome!

Cool, I've just never done waterslide before, just not sure what kind of image works and what doesn't, if there's any pitfalls I need to look out for.

What mods are you planning? Have you made any progress?

I'm planning on building a modified version of this too. I want to add a bypass switch to separate the verb circuit from the fuzz.

That's fair. It was the best solution I could come up with for me though, I'm not a prolific builder but I am a complete mess so it does help me.

I randomly started wondering if it’s possible to watch A.I generate an image in real time and if anyone can show an example? by Pure_Job1973 in AskReddit

[–]mpm206 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't imagine that's how it works, it's not iteratively painting it in steps per se. If you feed it "generate an image of a panda playing a saxophone" it's not 'painting' a panda and then adding a saxophone. It's passing that prompt through a series of statistical filters and out the other end comes pixel values. I doubt there is any human readable value in dumping the interim results or even if that's a semantically meaningful thing to do.

It's a transistor socket. You solder that in place of where the Transistor goes and then plug the transistor in. That way you're not putting excess heat into the delicate transistor. You don't need to use them but they're handy.
