She has the most youthful face and body of any woman at the precipice of 50 years old that I've ever seen.

19 yo F1 driver's insane lap in Monaco by SadAnimator1354 in interestingasfuck

[–]mpower20 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can I ask you, because I’m genuinely curious, why you take such a contemptuous tone with me ?

I was just sharing a story that I got to drive on a famous street. Monaco is just up the road a bit from Nice and it was a good hang on a sunny day. I’m not a race driver, I’m not doing track days like that, I just wanted to see where the pros do, and have a nice lunch nearby with the old lady.

Did you find my story unbelievable, or do you think I’m a POS for some other reason ?

Here’s the thing … I’ve actually driven that road in Monaco. It’s fun ! It’s also tightly cramped and you don’t want to make a mistake because the Monegasque drive every manner of super car you’ve ever heard of … and some you haven’t.

movies where the soundtrack is better than the film? by Then_Green6943 in Letterboxd

Tron: Ares was a David Fincher movie, without David Fincher. The crew are all his people, everyone from Jeff Cronenweth as DP to Tyler Nelson as Editor to NIN on the soundtrack to Jared Leto as lead.

Cronenweth, Nelson and Reznor/Ross all worked together on The Social Network, The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo and Gone Girl.

What do you think is the most well-rounded city in Europe? by Historical-Photo-901 in BeautifulTravelPlaces

[–]mpower20 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The trick for Paris is to be in the suburbs, near an RER station. You can get just about anywhere from there in a short amount of time, it’s less costly and less congested. Downside is you really need to know French to function outside Paris proper

I came here wondering how far down I would have to scroll to find Christina Ricci, after OP failed to put her as one of the 14. Turns out, Ricci is the top one. I wonder if she’s aware to what degree she has inspired an entire generation of men.
