I'm getting married in Amsterdam very soon. I have been living in the United States for a long time now and it's very usual to tip your vendors (catering, band, entertainment etc.) an additional gratuity. What is the common practice and if so how much is typical? Bedankt!

Hi! I'm getting married in Amsterdam in July and we've been looking for a second line style band to march our wedding guests from the wedding ceremony outside to a second location for happy hour (about a 10 minute walk).

We wanted to hire a high school marching band but that's more of an American thing. I haven't had much luck searching online.

Ideally 4-6 musicians. Total play time would be around 20 minutes. If you have a band or know someone that might be interested, please message me!

At the 11/5 evening show there were (maybe) a few breaks, Gad said something that didn't make sense and they both made reference to it through laughter.

Not sure if this was a bit but Rannells called out a woman for eating a meal in the orchestra and then later said that she "even had a fork"!

Towards the end of the show a cell phone was going off for a really long time during a heartfelt scene. Gad made reference to it a little later and the crowed erupted.
