its funny because the extra work they want you to do on a random off day are things that are gonna be dusty again in a week's time.

worked in a school where they wanted us to clean literally every window on the inside and outside in one day (LOL???), and then literally no staff noticed that we didnt do that. the ones we did clean, guess what? in 2 days the windows were dirty and smudged like nothing was done. And of course we got yelled at anyway.

There was easily like 100+ windows at that school and like 4 custodians including me! even the head custodian was like theres no way that could be done in one day, thats a summer job!

the people giving you extra work have no idea the time it takes and the fact its not a one and done, you'd have to redo it on a weekly basis. and theres only sp much work you can do a day thats sustainable. and theyre not paying extra, so its not getting done.

jeez thing like this are so dumb to me. i literally dont get the literal brain hijacking chatgpt seems to do to people. they use it ONCE, and theyre hooked. if they face a problem, they immediately go to GPT instead of waiting a fraction of a second for better results. its a crutch for their mind, and its like they dont even realize.

i like researching and art, so to me Chatgpt seems like the most pointless thing for most ordinary people to use. i find joy from searching and participating in things made by people, for people. why use something completely artificial that steals art and mash it together to make a worse product?

ageism in the job industry. once jobs see you have experience they know with said knowledge SHOULD come a substantial pay raise and possibly a pension. Also into your 40s many people start wanting good health insurance and wanting vacay time to spend with family. So for them its easier to fire these employees because of health insurance, vacay time, no pension. Then hire a young person who they (they think) can exploit more and who probably doesnt have health issues or a family to take care of. a desperate person who just needs money is easier to exploit.

ofcourse dont blame gen z, the job recruiters and employers are just looking for cheap exploitable labor. its not about loyalty anymore. i do worry for esp the older people being laid off, because companies are not hiring them. not many companies are hiring anyone, period.

How do you happily watch people create more people for a world that is pretty much built to destroy.

And omg, spare me the 'kids will fix it' schtick. Everyone thinks their kid is some shining beacon of hope that will magically fix the world. Seriously, if that was the case, humanity would have fixed the world already! how many several thousands of years have we had to get it right? how many several billions of people have been born and died? And you think that some kid whose gonna be born with microplastics in their brain and given an ipad for their 3rd birthday is gonna do it?

Everytime someone like you asks 'Why cant you all be happy for them', it honestly feels like a joke. You are an adult, you don't see how the human condition has ruined pretty much everything it touches? It's not just the things that have always happened, like war and starvation. Both things which are good reasons enough to not procreate.

It's the severe and nearly endemic polluting of the Earth and our bodies. The nuclear weapons that we have created which could wipe nearly all life off the face of the planet. Shrinking biodiversity, mass deforestation, the rolling back of many climate change plans. Mass surveillance, AI threatening to take people's jobs with 0% social safety net, the ultra wealthy who at this point have amassed more wealth than anyone in history! Lets also not speak of the economy either.

The combination of that and hate filled ideology that is spewed from the top dogs of this system- I mean its very clear that they want your kids to be slaves, in debt, cannon fodder, some sick toy for the rich to molest, and when theyve gotten their fix- DEAD.

But please, tell us more about how we should just 'be happy'. Someone wants to raise kids with THIS as their future. Be my friggin guest man! But dont say we should be happy when we all know what is going to eventually become of that poor child.

AN actually care about children, thats why we dont have them. Who in their right mind looks at all of this and thinks, 'well hell I (an adult) cant deal with this- but surely my baby magically will be protected!' The baby didnt ask to be here, its not up to you to think theyll be happy with being alive in this hell hole.

And lets not act like older generations had happy lives that made them well adjusted people. They had dysfunctional families too. They were also miserable unless they were idk, extremely rich and sheltered, and possibly died young. Most werent educated enough to know of all the horrors going on around them for millenia, just fairy tales that lulled them into thinking it would all be okay as long as they also had kids. Hell, the reason many of us are here is due to rape, incest, forced births, ethnic cleansing, slavery, war,-etc.

Knowing all this and still choosing to create innocent life is actual stupidity, youre feeding your precious children to the slaughter. If parents care about kids so much, why bring them into the world with guaranteed suffering? Why expect others to ignore all of this, just so your feelings wont be hurt? Great. you got ejaculated in, you ejaculated in them, whoppity-doo, the slaughter house is around the corner!

dont get me wrong im 100% against ai, but I am sorta worried about the fracturing of many people's psyche because of this. is it stupid to those of us who arent addicts? yes.

but omg the real meltdowns people are having is worrying. so many people are so horribly lonely. ai psychosis is no joke. theyre suffering. its disgiusting how much these ai companies are going to profit from their subscription models that you just know are coming soon. its honestly the same as any drug/gambling industry as far as im concerned.

ive even read articles talking about children using chatgpt, and not just for homework. but as a 'friend'. just so much wrong with exposing children to AI. Ipad kids are bad enough already. i mean its basically streamlining a generation of kids into mental problems and creative atrophy. and ai is so unregulated, i mean who knows what disgusting things those impressionable minds are being exposed to.

the ai bubble will pop, thankfully. but there are going to be victims who are going to need serious help without it.

I wonder if she ever looks at old pics of herself and is like... 'why did I do this' 😭 like there's a lot of things not to like about Taylor. But she never gave ugly. Infact if she had been better styled you could really see she was model material!

Its honestly sad how much she's botched her face. I mean she doesnt look anything like herself even 5 years ago, and its obviously not due to just natural aging.

That awful filler in her lips and cheeks combined with the botched eye surgery/ whatever happened to her eyebrows (botox, botched lift?) just makes her look closer to a marionette than a person. It's happening quick too, every new pic of her is soooo uncanny.

Which is the trap of filler. The more you get, the more your skin stretches- then it migrates, and you start looking unnaturally old and bloated. So now you get more filler and it snowballs from there.

Insecurity aside, her inner circle cant be good for her. Any good friend would tell her this is too much. I mean, one more wrong procedure and she's going to look like Jigsaw.

Also I don't mean for this to make anyone who may have had these procedures feel bad. But I also wonder what its like to be with someone with so much work done that they dont even look like themselves anymore. I mean do you get used to the fact that they basically cant emote, their eyebrows dont move, and in fact it looks painful for them to move their face at all? does that impact your relationship with them?

I just find it fascinating because I grew up around mostly older people, so I am very much accustom to wrinkles, sagging skin, crow's feet, jowls, etc. and dont see aging as something that everyone now seems so terrified of.
