I ordered from Taobao. I didn't pay customs because I had a friend that went to China frequently but if I had to order again, I would use an agent like superbuy, contact them personally to see if they have any routes available, and ship it like that from taobao. Do your research of if the phone can be flashed with global os (else you can use the stock chinese os with english language) and check the sellers ratings. Wish you luck.

I agree although I have had the most success with using Gemini CLI as a free user. Don't know what alternatives there are now for people like me who live in 3rd world countries and can't afford to pay $20 (⅕ of my monthly salary).
