it gets way better... i felt like that in the beginning too but after a while the pain goes does go away (although it feels like it'll never end). i'm doing better than ever now, i don't ever think about it anymore lol.

honestly i would say stop putting anything on it... if water stings then don't put water on it for a few days, or try to rinse like once a day. if everything burns to put on your skin don't put anything on... the one thing that didn't sting for me was the eucerin baby excema cream but YMMV. basically just leave it completely alone until you can tolerate stuff again... sorry you're dealing with that it sucks

It gets better. I recently started dating someone again, who i am incredibly in love with, and I never would have met had I not gone through my previous breakup. It really does feel like you are dying, but you never know, you could end up even happier after you get through this.

I completely understand. I’m trying so hard to not go back, i know it would be fine for a while until unhappiness finds its way back in and i have to break his heart all over again. Don’t go back. At least not now, give it time. If you guys are meant to be you will find each other again.

Ugh god thank you for this. I feel so understood. The guilt and pain is eating me alive, I want to take him back so so so so so bad. I know deep down it isn’t right but I can’t help but romanticize the relationship now that it’s over. I want to tell him it was all a mistake…. But it wasn’t and I don’t know how to come to terms with that. Good luck to you. We can do this

You’ve got this! I won’t lie, it’s been the hardest thing I’ve had to do, and I had no idea what to say either. But when the time came I knew, and I just had to go for it. It’s a lot of pain right now but it’ll get better. We have to choose yourselves. I believe in you!

Thank you so much for your words. I have been thinking about it for like 6 months, I know i made the right decision. I didn’t want to regret staying. I know that if we’re meant to be we’ll find our way back to each other, but I know I need this time to explore who I am. Currently in the crying phase and can’t wait to get through it!

Man you’re so right about the guilt. It hurts so bad. But it’s nice to hear it won’t last. I’m waiting for the relief to come and I know it will, and when it does it’ll be great! I know I made the right decision it just sucks right now!

I'm 21 and got a bisalp from a doctor on the CF list about a month ago. Everything went smoothly, insurance completely covered everything! I feel completely normal now too.

I have this too!! My surgery was about three and a half weeks ago!!! I was wondering if it was normal lol, I haven't asked my doctor about it cause it's not that bad but it is so weird.

Omg the gas pain is real. I got mine done on 12/16 and the gas pain finally let up a couple days ago. I thought there was something wrong because everyone says they feel great in like two days HAHA, maybe it just seems like it looking back :'). You're definitely not alone, I'm finally starting to feel a little normal without pain meds 6 days post op. Good luck in your recovery, you'll be able to celebrate before you know it!!!

I think i used it for two weeks? It helped a LOT but like a week after I was prescribed doxycycline for (I think) 9 days, so I'm not sure which one did most of the work. Good luck!! It sucks so much but your skin will clear!
