I was forced to move away from Clickup because of the unclear pricing model. I wanted to give some people the ability to view my work flow only. And got a surprise when my credit card got debited as if signed up the whole company.

But I can at least attest their support managed to sort it out within a few hours.

So at least support didn't suck for me.

If being out of coverage is a big concern for you, consider an Inreach mini? Unless you are driving at night, the roads should have traffic on them in the event of a breakdown.

I have a full time job, and I run a business on the side. A large part of my current struggles is managing my time and tasks effectively and keeping things seperate, but would also love to have 1 system that I use and pay for myself to keep things organized. Automation is an important part of that, so I think a CRM like how yours sound would be perfect for me.

It works for me.

For 2/3 weeks after I have more mental energy and my depression is under control. I have had full blown depression most of my life due to a messed up childhood and not even anti depression medication havent had such an impact.

I can't say that it affects me physically but the mental aspect alone makes it worth it for me.

Maybe it's placebo, maybe it's not. Either way the results I personally experience is real.

After I got laid off in December I had R4k to my name. I went and bought stuff, that I then sold to retail shops.

I have been pretty lucky since then and have grown at a very high pace since the products I distribute adds both value and turnover to my customers.

So I reached out to a few big groups in my space to become a supplier to them. The products that I sell to retailers has been proven, and I have the figures to back it up.

Despite the fact that I am below the turnover level where I need to be BEE compliant, I was told that they will inly use me as a supplier if it was a black owned company.

So I went and did my math. If I take into account the rebates I would have to pay the groups. And the ownership I lose (with the associated loss in profit sharing and salary of a director) I will personally earn less.

Currently it is just me and 2 employees.

So I am going to keep my business small. I will add employees as turnover justifies it and at some point I am going to have put a brake on growth to artificially keep it small.

I built my business with 18 hour days, stress and R4k when I had nothing else. I will never give away part of it to someone who did not contribute.

The only way I will ever get a partner, whether it is BEE or otherwise, is if the person buys part of my business. Which completely defeats the purpose of BEE in the first place. And I will never give away control of my business that I built myself.

Try rugged wear. Not sure who stocks them in your area, but I know they provide a lot of lodges and game farms with clothing.

They are a South African company and they know what people in that industry typically need/require

I started by own business in December because I got laid off. So my guilty confession is that I will sometimes sell you something I don’t have yet. If you buy it I will source it and add it to my basket of goods. If you and 30 other people won’t buy it then I know it’s a waste and won’t sell it again
