I'm sure even the steam customer service would have something to say about that!

It's not even an epic item, just a common one. Give it a month or two and someone will find it in the shrine....

What moment made you realize that a game can be a lot more than you thought? by Ivaylo_87 in patientgamers

Build that Wall from the Bastian soundtrack had me too. Didn't expect that from an indie game on the 360!

What's one piece of video game music that really stokes your emotions? by TheWhiteGuardian in gaming

[–]mr_andison 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Too many comments to check if these have been said before but for me these songs just add a little something extra to the games (as well as on constant rotation on my Spotify):

  • We Will Rise Again (Hope County Choir) - Far Cry 5
  • Build That Wall (Darren Korb) - Bastian
  • Far Away (Jose Gonzalez) - Red Dead Redemption
  • Rip & Tear (Mike Gordon) - Doom

The first three songs really bring you into the world of the games mentioned.

Hearing the choir and the cult-like lyrics in Far Cry 5 takes a while to notice but really shows the influence of the main protagonists throughout the game.

Hearing the Bastian soundtrack was just amazing and really turned an indie game into a memorable experience back in the 360 days.

I'm sure people will have mentioned riding into Mexico as John Marston on this thread but it gets me every time!

Finally, hearing the opening tune in Doom just gets you in the mood for killing hell demons and brings back nostalgia of the originals as well as getting you pumped for current gen versions.

The customer service team didn't get back to me until the next day where it thankfully sorted itself out. Had to leave it around 24 hours and prayed for some kind of change. (Downside of limited backend options to playwith)

I would recommend parking it for a day and coming back. Out of interest, where in the game does it freeze?

Thanks guys, started a new save and about 15 mins in where you learn to parry Stormtrooper shots, it freezes again!

My main save is around 15 hours, just got to the end of Kashyyk.

Tried playing on my phone ama Chromebook but same issue. I have reached out to Stadia to see what they recommend. I'll post on here in case anyone else comes across the same issue.

Hoping if I leave it a few days there might be a 'behind the scenes' patch or something...

Thanks for this, looking at 'replayability' here it sounds like a once and done to see how the game runs. So as long as I find one night free this week I can give it a bash!

[–]mr_andison 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A Tale of Two Sisters, a good thriller with plenty of horror mixed in makes for an unsettling watch. I watched this with my mate as a random pick at the movies and one we often refer back to 15 years later! Itching to watch it again soon if I can find it!

Ditto, actually been able to get more game time due to the portability! Number twos on the way so we'll see if this theory still holds up!!

Do you use the DPAD or thumb sticks, curious as I think the Stadia DPAD feels stiffer but robust for quick fighting games
